My wife and I stayed at Rathaldron Lodge for 2 nights whilst we were in County Meath to attend a friend's wedding (21st-23rd Sept 18) - Helen was a wonderful host - nothing was too much trouble - even when we were delayed on our flight over from Edinburgh (Ryanair....no surprises there) and didn't arrive at the Lodge until after 1AM, Helen still greeted us in a friendly manner. The breakfast was brilliant - great selection of continental offerings followed by a perfect full Irish breakfast and a nice pot of tea! Helen also went over and above the norm you would expect from a Host- first of all she could see that we (well maybe just me) were a little delicate from the night before and let us check out at midday instead of 11AM and secondly, gave us a lift to the wedding venue where we had left our hire car. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here and would definitely look to stay here again if we ever return to the area.
