The Johnstown Estate

We just got back from a lovely stay at The Johnstown Estate, It was amazing! Our room was clean, cozy, and spacious. The bed was so comfortable. The decor was really nice too, with everything we needed. We also loved the little extras, like robes and slippers which made the stay feel extra special. The food at The Coach House was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We had a really tasty meal, and everything was so well presented. The menu had plenty of options, and we found it hard to choose because everything sounded so good. We ended up going for the Tikka Masala and the salmon which was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and it made for a great dining experience. We really want to take a moment to thank Oisin and Tegan our servers in the Bar. They were honestly the best servers we’ve ever had. From the moment we sat down, we were made feel so welcome, was really friendly and took the time to chat with us, even though it was a busy night. What really stood out was how thoughtful Tegan was. She gave us some great recommendations from the menu, making sure to check if we had any dietary restrictions. Tegan also went above and beyond when one of our dishes arrived a little different from what we expected. She immediately apologized, took the dish back to the kitchen, and made sure we got a new one that was exactly what we wanted. She handled it all so professionally, and we really appreciated how quickly she sorted everything out. It didn’t go unnoticed either, we overheard the couple at the table next to us also praising her service, so we know we weren’t the only ones who thought she was great. A big thank you to her, she is a credit to your team. The spa at The Johnstown Estate was another highlight. We had a really relaxing time there, and the facilities were just perfect. It was quiet, peaceful, and a great place to unwind. We both left feeling totally refreshed and relaxed. We will definitely be back here. Thanks to all the staff at the Johnstown Estate..
