Royal Marine

We had planned to stay in the Royal Marine hotel for three nights as a family. We had two rooms booked, with three people in each room. My Mam got sick on our first evening there and based on doctor' orders, she had to plan to return home one day early, to go to hospital. We explained to a lovely staff member, the front of house supervisor, Ece, that we had to cancel one night of one room. Firstly, Ece was very kind and eased our minds straight away as to any worries we had re cancelling one night. She was also very patient with us and talked us through the cancellation process. We had paid on arrival earlier that day and Ece kindly reimbursed my Mam's room with the value of the one night she had to cancel. My Mam then had one less thing to worry about and she was very pleased with Ece's kind attitude towards us,as was I. Hotel staff all over the world could learn a lot from Ece. She is a great asset to the hotel and we will definitely not hesitate to return to this lovely hotel. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the breakfast is absolutely gorgeous, beautiful poached eggs, fresh fruit and yogurt, lovely smoothies and gorgeous hot food, including very tasty black and white pudding and small potatoes. We were extremely satisfied after each breakfast. The waiting staff were extremely helpful also and we all noted the very pleasant and smiling manager who greeted us every morning and lead us to our table. She's another great asset to this hotel. The lobby area is gorgeous for a drink/cuppa while looking out at the sun setting over the sea in the evening. The pool and gym have everything you need too. Do not hesitate to book this fantastic hotel.
