The resort is in natural atmosphere, the location is awesome. Lots of trees and plants in the resort gives green view every where. Lots of activities for kids also. the rooms are average but ok. Nice place to stay with family and friends.

Hotel Location is Nice... Cool and Fresh Air...Calm Place to take rest. No Visiting Places is the only disappointment. but the resort environment is really good. Green Garden.Kids Play area. we really enjoyed....

Great location, We were lucky enough to stay in this charming hotel for 2 nights during our honeymoon trip last month. All the staff are so nice and friendly. The rooms were super clean and spacious, and we had a nice view. This is reasonably priced for the area and the location.

The location of the resort is situated in very nice place.Climate is enjoyable and ambience out there is great with well maintained garden.Good service, awesome food overall best experience.....Friendly environment. Good housekeeping. Everything is good.

Its on the main road itself... Rooms are quite neat and spacious... There's a small area for kids to play... Food options are limited... But whatever they prepared was good... Rates are quite reasonable too...

JMA garden resort is a good place to stay for families in sirumalai hills. the rooms were neat and clean.the service was good. the caretaker Mr,David handled things pleasantly. food provided was of very good taste(dont miss the paneer pops) but costly. we stayed there for two days in January. play area was good for the kids.the downside is two rooms had to adjust with a single heater.

The worst hospitality from a hotel manager can be seen. Irresponsible way of answering. Apart from room rent they collect even advance amount, which they never paid me inspite of so many calls and reminders. Finally he said he will not pay & u can do whatever u want. Be careful before u check in. Better not to choose such resort.

Fed up

I had booked to stay in this property on 27th August 2021 (Booked directly over phone and not through any booking site).  We, Group of 6 pax, booked two rooms, one is with 2 double cot (4 Pax- Rs.1700/-) and another one is 1 double cot (2 Pax - Rs.1200/-) - but Room sizes are same.  When took our booking, they said that having their own restaurant and can order food and eat as per our choice.  As i had been in sirumalai 2 years back (stayed in other property) and well know that it is very hard to get food as no much restaurant in this village.  I choosed this property as attached restaurant are there.

Before going there i called them to pre-order our Lunch on 27th August 2021, but they said that cook is unavailable so requested us to carry food from Dindigul Town and we did the same.  They confirmed us that Dinner and next day brekafast can avail in their restaurant.  After check-in (around 12.15 pm) we once again asked and they confirmed that food will be well available for dinner and breakfast. We asked for Tea, they replied cook is on the way and will let us know once he comes, but he didn't.  They Keep on say same story that cook is on the way to property but he never turned up.  For Dinner, Again we forced to drive to a restaurant which is situated from 3 KM far away form this property.  We are not at all interested to drive in the night especially in the very Narrow Ghat Road, but we forced to do so.   There are no room boys to bring the food from outside.  Luckily one of of our group member didnt consume alchocol, so we managed to get dinner, otherwise it would have been very terrible to get the dinner.  In the night they promised that tomorrow onward there wont be any issue in getting food from their Restaurant.  Next  day morning we woke up around 6.,30 am, and tried to get Tea/Coffee but no is available in the Reception and Restaurant.  We tried to go outside to get TEA but the Main gate were locked.   We called the manager number and he said he is in dindigul and will ask the other guy to open the gate.  We wait ed more than 45 minutes for a person to come and open the gate.  As usual, they said cook is unavailable and asked us to have breakfast outside.  We had plan to stay 2 nights, but we vacated and stayed in other property (LION RESORTS, SIRUMALAI).

1) It is not right property who do not wish to travel to get foods from outside and also no good restaurants are there nearyby.
2) It is very tough to reach receiption for any room service as there are no intercom.  Have to go receipt in person every time and most of time no one is available in the reception.
3) No Room boys are available for any assistance.
4) They are not providing any Towels including other Toiletry items (Soap, shampoo, etc).  Even they are not providing Drinking Water in the Rooms.
5) In the morning, you need to follow up with reception to get your room Geyser switched on by them.
6) Only good thing is that Rooms & Rest Room are very clean and nothing much to complaint on it.  Location also good and lot of open space to enjoy the climate and relax.

OVERALL, I wont recommend  this hotel to anyone.

Very Worst Experience

If you want to waste your money, time & energy then surely you need to book this resort (?).
Yes ! You read it correctly. We booked this property from Agoda.com for 14th & 15th August 2021. This booking is routed further to OYO since it is partnered with it. All right ! Here I am writing one by the horrific experience with this resort / hotel.
1. We informed well in advance that we are reaching at hotel by 4PM on 14th since we were riding from our motorcycles from Chennai (400+ Kms). After reaching there, we were shocked to know no single room in cleaned & available to check in. It was committed by so called manager in 10-15 minutes we'll be getting our room. So we kept our all luggage in Varhanda by that time. It was wasting of our energy to take followup with Hotel Manager to get the clean our rooms. Finally, that poor Manager himself cleaned the room & WE GOT ROOM AT 6:30 PM. We came to know that this resort is not having any staff.
2. There is NO ROOM SERVICE available. We had to collect & carry own all toiletry items from reception to room. To get water bottle (Rs.30/-), again need to reach reception. No Water provided in rooms.
3. There is cooking facility available, but their cook was on Leave. Again its disappointment for us. We asked whether can we get hot water or at least allow us to get it by own so that we can cook some Maggie packets which we carried. But for that also this manager was telling rules & regulation.
4. Since, cook was not available, we DIDN'T GET BREAKFAST also next day which was complimentary by OYO.. Somehow, from outside we managed to get food for dinner, but here also not end of our torture. We asked for some plates to eat food for that also as usual no response from Hotel staff (that poor manager only).
5. The property is located at very nice location. But these hotel people doesn't know how to maintain. Rooms are so shabby, linen are not cleaned at least more than 6 months.
6. The climate is very chilled. To get HOT WATER again we had to beg at reception to switch ON the geyser.
7. Funny part is next day exactly on the time of check-out he knocked our door though earlier day check-in delayed by 6 hrs.
Overall, it was complete different & horrible experience to spend our precious time in this hotel / resort. We witnessed other people also suffering from same. It is strongly suggested OYO to re-think about your partnership with this hotel & stop cheating people who are coming from such a long distance.
Finally, if you are milliner, money is just flowing like anything, you want to waste it, then surely you must consider this JMA Garden Resort.

Pathetic Stay at JMA Resorts, Sirumalai, Tamilnadu

Sirumalai climate is pleasant to visit ONLY during December and January. JMA has completely run down on services and facilities. No concierge service to assist with baggage. You need to carry your own baggage. No power back-up. Left with complete darkness. Leeches and all insects visit your room, except the hotel staff. No one will bother to come even if you shout for help. The staff has a cool attitude to ask you fill water from the garden tap if you ask for water. Extremely unsafe for family and children. Ok for boys groups and a day usage. Definitely not for over night stay. Most important, please don't even think of tea, coffee and food delivery as they have renovation work going on for years together.
