Magnolia Bed and Breakfast

Its very gud place to stay, total 4 rooms, 1 on Ground Floor & 3 on First Floor.
G Floor room is having attached bathroom
2 Rooms on First floor are having dedicated bathrooms but outside the room.
3rd First Floor room is having its bathroom on G floor.
BF served was very nice, just amazing in taste & quantity.
Caretaker was very nice & friendly.
Very big space to park cars, atleast 3 cars.
Location is bit off the road but in calm residential area.
No restaurants nearby but dinner can be either prepared on pre-order by caretaker or he can even bring it from outside.
Got very nice deal on Airbnb...

The property is located at a 2 minute walk from the Golf Course and is adjacent to the main road connecting the Shillong city center. Police Bazaar was 5-7 minutes by taxi and the football stadium of Shillong Lajong was 3-4 minutes walking. The only problem for the hotel was lack of a proper restaurant and there are no proper restaurants nearby. There is a nice bakery next to the hotel where you get good products. Coming to the rooms they are clean and ideal for family stay. Toilets are outside in the corridor but have automatic locking system and dedicated for each room. View from balcony is also nice and breakfast spread was decent. But lunch and dinner need to be bought from outside by hotel staff. Hotel staff are polite and well behaved and will provide any help required for family and kids.Room heater is provided but WiFi was pretty slow.Shillong sight seeing cabs can be arranged from the hotel

In the residential Golf Links area, away from the city center, 5-10 mins by taxi from Police Bazaar, will cost between 100-150 rupees for reserved taxi. The WiFi wasn't the best during my stay. 2 restaurants and a mini-supermarket close by.

Very Nice Place to Stay

Room No 101

Positives: Has a great room. Bathroom is good and had a good geysers , shower. Location is bit far away from main market. if you have your vehicle then should not be an issues. It also has a balcony, only this room has it.
Negatives: It has a private bathroom but outside the room. Service is ok. Food ordered was quite delayed.

considering Bathroom's are outside, price should be reduced.

Tip: try to get room no 101, Room 103 has bathroom one floor down

Good for a night stay

The location is a bit awkward. Rooms are comfortable with room heaters provided. Our room had a balcony too.. Though the bathrooms are outside the room. But each room has a dedicated bathroom. And it does not cause much problem though. We were not able to get a proper breakfast since the cook was on leave. WE had to go to Polo Bazar area for our dinner which was very inconvenient since there are mo restaurants nearby and Magnolia did not provide us with dinner. Over all an OK Stay.
