We had an Ayurvedic massage and a back massage in this ashram - 2000 rupees. Titendra Kumar was really attentive and professional, made us relax after a long tiring day. After that, he took us home because it was late night. Nice experience and very polite host. Recommended!

Relaxing massage with great host

The owner is very nice. He promised we'll get WIFI in the afternoon the day we arrvied (in July - out of season) and kept his word. Great locatin near laxman jhula bridge and a tiny place were you can get good italian coffee and fresh sambosac in the late morning.
Low prices (500-600 rupee for 2 people in a room) and the quality is accordingly. 2 mintues walk from the german bakery.

This place manager will cheat you.
First price was 400 rupee , and after I checked in it became 800 rupee and he pretended he didn't understand english or the deal.

Few days later a friend came from delhi to stay with me he said no indian allowed and he charged me 200 rupee extra for the room which i already pay dubbed room price.

Also on the bill they make you sign a DONATED BILL... while they decide the charge of the room... this way they avoid taxes t the government.

The place is a good stay with a great view over the Ganges, but this all comes with a very bad portion of Delhi-belly. Expect to get sick and be on the loo for 3 days or more..

Guesthouse's location is really good and central in the more quieter part of Lax(ative)man Jhula.
