Hotel Mall Point

Recently I visited Darjeeling with my wife for relaxation and wanted to stay near mall. So booked Hotel Challet. But my experience was not very sweet. Though I booked for 6 days but I had to change the hotel after 3days due to the pathetic condition of the said Hotel. The Owner is not at all concerned about the comfort of the tourist. He is only interested in the booking money. The building is a heritage one but without any maintenance at all. No service is provided to the tourists. But I was lucky to get a room in Hotel Cherry Woods which is just behind Keventers and Glenarys. The receptionist Ms. Pema Tamang greeted us with a friendly smile and arranged a deluxe double room for us for 3 days in that peak season. She was very friendly and helpful and arranged our car for sightseeing. Room tariffs are reasonable to me in that peak season and I believe it will be lesser in off season. They have restaurant of their own with room service facilities. Toilets and linens are clean and with 24 hours hot water facilities. Amenities are plentiful with wifi, tea and coffee machines, tv . Rooms are big enough with all the needed requirements. Especially the service staffs are polite and prompt in their services. I will always remember them and their services. They have a SPA also. The hotel is under Newa group of hotels & spa. They have many hotels in various places of Sikkim. I hope the management will continue to serve more and more people with their good services in the coming future.
