Pathetic service. Ac and tv was not working. Staffs behavior was so rude. Most of the staff don't know how to talk. They don't even provide more than 1 bottle water. We just ask for a water bottle they denied. Full night some noise was coming form ac. Horrible experience. Value of money is a big zerooo.

Comparing 2 hotels used in the space of 3 months:

1. Southern Star, Feb 2023: standard room at 5000/ per night incl breakfast and taxes, with all amenities, including glass in bathroom for toothbrush, dental kit (as standard feature) bath mat, soap, working refrigerator and high quality bath fixtures. 

2. Jade Garden just 3 months later, May 2023, standard double room at 7000/ incl breakfast and taxes. Minimum amenities - 1 Bisleri bottle of water to be shared by 2 people, no dental kit, no glass in bathroom for toothbrush etc, no second hand towel, fridge in non working condition. Dodgy bed linen, we were not sure if it was fresh. 

When we asked for a glass tumbler for our dental kit, we were told only "superior rooms" are given this. So at 7k, this was not even a "superior room!"

Very disappointed. Not value for money at all. Be careful to ask questions before booking. 


Tale of two hotels

Jade Garden Hotel is a great place to stay in Mysore. It offers comfortable rooms, good service and delicious cuisine. The hotel is located just 2 km away from Mysore Palace and is surrounded by lush greenery. It provides amenities like an complimentary Wi-Fi and parking, a restaurant and more. It is also conveniently located close to the Mysore Zoo and the Maharaja's Palace.

Jade Garden Hotel is a great place to stay in Mysore.

Pillows are very comfortable and give you very good and relaxed sleep.I have enjoyed our stay with friends. Food at restaurant is very good and the staff serves with broad smile. Quality of food very good. 


Overall I give full marks for cleanliness and very supportive staff

Hotel is simply superb ,Mr Peter Operation head is dedicated and hotel offers variety cuisine's and food tastes delicious ,homely.
Bathroom are very neat and clean.Its at CBD of mysuru I highly recommend this to visit as it also has iconic restopub which offers variety of cocktails and cocktails to try upon .

Hotel jade garden

The hotel is bright, clean and nice. The food at the restaurant is excellent and service is good. There is a good choice in the menu, though the buffet breakfast is pretty limited.

However, the rooms aren't that great. While the rooms are clean, they don't have a ceiling fan. The air conditioning is rickety and old, with broken remotes, and is the only mode of air circulation. The rooms smell stale when you enter, and smell a little of smoke. Again this is because of poor air circulation. There is no view at all, as most of the rooms face the adjacent building wall. The bathrooms are small.

Location of the hotel is excellent.

Clean but stale smelling rooms, good food.

This hotel offers a very good stay in Mysore at a very affordable cost. 

The checkin was very fast, the room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was also spacious and the bed was comfortable. 

There were a number of plug points and WiFi was super fast.

The housekeeping was very good and all the staff were polite and helpful. The minor complaints made by me were attended promptly and effectively. 
Rajesh and Allan at the reception deserve special mention.

There are 2 very good vegetarian restaurants Mahesh Prasad and Ramya Mahendra within 1 km radius which serves fantastic food with the local flavour. There is a Big Bazaar within 750 metres which as usual has practically everything you need. 

The hotels own restaurant Saffron had very good food with great quality and taste and breakfast was excellent.

Don’t miss the Palace and the Zoo which can be reached by auto for about Rs 70. You can book OLA cabs and autos which are available easily Nd are very economical. 

Right near the palace there is a hotel RRR which has wonderful Biryani. 

The slight negatives are that the bar on the 4th floor tends to get a bit noisy at night during the weekends, especially if you have a room on the 3rd floor and the TV had a very few number of channels to watch and there are no fans in the rooms, only AC. 

But barring these minor flaws, this is really a very good place to stay in Mysore and I have no hesitation in recommending Jade Garden to everyone planning a trip to Mysore.

Comfortable and Economical Hotel in a Good Location

Stayed overnight enroute Coorg. Location is quite calm and there is ample parking. Restaurant and bar is also available. Food is good. Buffet was quite sumptuous. Rooms are well maintained and spacious.

Small but Clean Hotel with Restaurant

good clean rooms.NO view from rooms though. everything else EXCELLENT.  food,buffet Breakfast V GOOD.Service V GOOD .BATHROOM V CLEAN.. Good cal localiTY. A Park closeby. 5 Min drive from railwaiY station.

VERY NICE PLACE

Had a very comfortable stay at Jade Garden Mysore. Firstly the hotel in conveniently located - barely 10 mins from mysore palace and a lot of good eateries. their rooms are basic and clean. I stayed in the executive room which was nice and spacious. Special mention to their breakfast buffet - excellent fare. The idlis served here are so underrated. Super soft and delish! they also have a rooftop restaurant - iconic which is easily one of the most happening places in mysuru. Definitely recommend the hotel when in mysore.
