Diana was so helpful and always available to reply to my queries about planning my sightseeing tours.
The vast VV coffee estate is an amazing and serene place. We also enjoyed bright stars in the clear night sky.

Coorg has special place in our hearts, not just because of it's serene beauty and nature but also due to the hospitality of our hosts Diana and Thimaiah at Victorian verandaz. This homestay is amidst the huge coffee estate in the lap of nature with breathtaking views. Right from the warm welcome, hearty breakfast, to arranging the sightseeing Diana was always there. Thank you Diana for suggesting an excellent place for coffee tasting experience.
Special estate tour in old jeep by Thimaiah was an amazing experience... simply unforgettable.. Also his personal museum of artifacts across the 5 generations provides an insight into the kodava culture.
Our stay was more special because of Ozzy...a fuzzy, loving pet who greeted us every morning and accompanied us on all our walks across the estate.
The warmth we felt during our stay made us feel as if we were visiting our relatives.

A beautiful ambience with coffee plantation all around the estate, this place is best enjoyed with family or group of like minded friends,i thank the owners for giving us this experience,to wakeup in the morning and thank God for the nature around you, the host treated us very well with lovely food and breakfast, which was prepared by the host herself,a great place for morning walk around the coffee estate

It was the first time we lived in a Homestay. This was a very new concept for us. We are thrilled to tell you that this was one of our best experiences. This is nice place to connect with nature. We feel that we were at our home. The cottage is most cleaned / hygiene up to the mark like five-star hotel. Owner and his family are very polite, and hospitality is very great too! Everyone we met was too kind and welcoming. The breakfast served was amazing and mouthwatering.

This was the first time our family stayed at a Homestay instead of a hotel and it was one of the best decisions we ever took. The stay here recharged us and left us feeling more connected to the nature. Early morning you can hear hundreds of different birds chirping, the authentic South Indian breakfast was fresh and scrumptious every morning.Kind people and lots of memories to take home with you! Truly a best place for escape from the stressful city life.

We had a wonderful stay for three days in late May. From the delicious local food to the gorgeous sights and sounds of the valley, the wonderful hosts of Victorian Verandaz created a cozy atmosphere. They were very helpful in helping us plan our 
itinerary, suggesting places to visit as well as local food joints.
Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a home-like environment, warm hosts and the calmness of nature.


We embarked on a journey which we wanted to experience of working away from home and office. 

So here it was at Victorian Verandez where we stayed for 5 nights. We stayed at Rustica cottage, which was peaceful. Our mornings was greeted with sumptuous breakfast with lots of variety served with the best coffee in our country.  Cottage provided us the flexibility of being independent thereby giving us the option to make whatever we wanted. Afternoons was so quiet where we could only hear birds chirp. So quiet that at times we were tempted to take a nap. Our day came to an end very early as we felt days were shorter. 

Coming to our hosts, Thimmiah and Diana, who were so humble and caring. It's their personal touch which makes us want to visit this place again in the future. They would visit atleast once a day to find out if we needed anything. As stated above the food we received was so delicious that we for sure put some extra kilos. 

Thimiaah took us around his estate of coffee and pepper plantations. He was kind enough to take us through his family history and it's incredible that he has treasured vessels and equipments which was used by his forefathers

If you are looking for a peaceful place surrounded by greenery and owners who are kind and gentle and loving, Victorian Verandez is the place to be. 

The place is so serene & calm that you would love to spend number of days there. Thimaiah and Diana are awesome hosts who takes utmost care, ensuring things are fine with guests.
Tasty food, awesome place, awesome hosts, adorable pets especially Ozzie.
Excellent place and would love to visit again and again ! Thank you very much Thimaiah & Diana.
Update: Visited second time. They are excellent hosts and our kids loved the place and affection showed by Diana.
