The camp is located at a distance of 40 kms from Jaisalmer and is easy to drive to and locate. Our tent was sturdy and spacious and the bathroom was well maintained and extremely clean, as was the linen and the bed sheets. This came as a pleasant surprise to us because we didn't expect a camp to have such high levels of hygiene and cleanliness. Food was extremely appetising. The Chef prepared a delicious Rajasthani style dry chicken dish using minimal masalas and oil. The camp organised a desert jeep safari (paid for separately)  and a camel safari (built into the package), both of which were fun. Evening was spent around the bonfire watching a Rajasthani song and dance performance. Right from the time of check in to check out, Mr. Rahul, Mr.Kuldeep and their team were attentive to our needs ensuring great service. All in all, a highly enjoyable and relaxing stay

Excellent service by the staff, delicious food, worth an experience!

This is a somewhat upgraded camping experience, so don’t expect the tents to be like a 5-star hotel; the accommodations are clean and comfortable.

Very happy with the service and attention the staff provided. The accommodation in on-suite tents was as good as the hotel suites we have stayed in. Our desert adventure into the dunes to watch the sunset was unforgettable. Meals are great and entertainment was enjoyable with drinks and nibbles before dinner.

I had the best stay here. Staff was so helpful and polite. Food was super tasty with lots of variety. Tent was neat and clean with all the facilities. Safari was awesome and most importantly people here were ready to help with anything. They even provided room heater to us on request. Just book this camp and you will not regret it

Desert camp in jaisalmer

I am grateful to Trip Advisor review section to help me choosing this one. When you are around this place you will find there are plenty of desert camps. But Wind Desert camp has one unique feature. They never allow loud music and DJ at the camp. That was my reason to choose and i was not wrong. Tents are very well maintained with all amenities. i expected much less to have a real camp stay feeling. Right from welcoming you in the camp till signing you off they are there for everything you need no matter how small. How can I forget Himmat Singh ji. He was our man. Due to cold weather they arranged the cultural program inside the dining room. I think it would have been much better to experience it outside. But it was not possible. My request to fellow travelers is when you are at the cultural program try to concentrate on  the performance and cheer the artists and not talk to each other and be on your mobile phone. It's very discouraging for the performers. They get paid for the performance but an artist wants the attention and appreciation much more than money. Thank you Himmat ji once again. We won't forget your hospitality. If I ever go there Wind Desert camp will be my ONLY option.

Our family enjoyed the adventures (jeep and camel safaris, parasailing) and experiences (trek and sunset view  in the desert, Rajasthani food and culture, star gazing) that Anshuman, the amazing host and his staff prepared for us. It was very memorable and indeed a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all of us. It was the perfect desert camp for our family who love to have fun in the outdoors. Thanks again to all the staff. Best Family Desert Camp in Jaisalmer

I think,I made the best choice by booking this luxury desert camp. Was so confused with so many options but the reviews written by many guests made me decide on Winds Desert Camp. Clean with efficient staff...Amazing variety of food which tastes brilliant.  Ever helpful manager Anshuman and courteos staff made my stay in Thar complete..They arranged for jeep and camel safari. Big tents with geysers and Acs. 

Marvelous luxury camp in the midst of Thar Desert

It was  a great experience, we really enjoyed the whole stay! The Tent experience and the all over ambience was very new to us! I would definitely recommend this to anyone!! And the food was pretty delicious and overall everything was clean and hygienic!
