Incredible nice hotel,veri kind staff,is an ancien indian tipical house..we enjoy very much our days there. Saba Haveli its an oasis in the midle of Jaipur. Good breakfast in the terraza,quick service.Gori the recepcionis is so kind and eficient.We enjoy it very much.

Amazin Hotel

We checked into Saba Haveli for a weekend and stayed for a month and a half. This is a very special place. Absolutely beautiful, big, palatial rooms. Fantastic service from Sanjay and Dhananjay's entire team. They took care of anything we needed, treated us like family, and truly made us feel at home. Also their food is outstanding. We flew kites on the rooftop, watched incredible sunsets, celebrated Holi in their garden and felt like we'd moved in. We'll be back.

Favorite Place to Stay in Jaipur

This hotel was so much more than we could hope for! It had all the amenities you need for a long stay (& we are picky Americans from Manhattan); ac, fans, lots of working windows that open (you can always get that perfect temperature), good room layout, comfy bed, a big shower with lots of hot water, a private garden across the street, an amazing rooftop city view of all the forts and palaces, and the food! Every meal was incredible. Because of all this that we didn’t feel like we needed to leave the hotel. We had a lot of variety, cooking class, the puppet show, a romantic private candle lit dinner on the roof, hanging in the private garden across the street. The staff was incredible and every request (like late night ice cream) was met and exceeded. 

But the condition of the hotel is really what makes it special. They let the beautiful old things be old, but added complimentary and well functioning design. Most importantly the space is elegant and very comfortable but the best part is that there is a layer of charming grit and history that makes the past and the present feel real and come together perfectly. Do yourself a favor and stay here. 

As a lesbian couple we felt so safe and welcome and hope everyone gets a chance to stay at this magical place, we will be back!

Quiet, Charming, Exotic - and the service!!!!

We have just had an incredible experience in Jaipur staying at the Saba Haveli, the type of stay we had always dreamt of having in India. 

Firstly and most importantly it is always the people that make the place.  Sanjay and his son Dhananjay are always welcoming while the beautiful-natured Gauri and the ever-smiling Dhan Singh make sure the haveli runs efficiently and smoothly. 

The setting is wonderful. There is a rooftop terrace where we had candlelit dinners at sunset surrounded by views of the city and the hillside forts while the sounds of the muezzin and the music from the houses float upwards. There’s also a secluded garden where we could sit and read in peace. 

The food was delicious. I would particularly recommend the paneer butter masala, the aubergine moussaka and the crispy potatoes, but truly it was all scrumptious. 

The room was amazing. For the price it is nothing short of opulent. Ornate timber doors, loads of space to relax, a comfortable king sized bed, a hot powerful shower in a big bathroom with beautiful tiles. All set in a 250 year old property. We will gladly return and heartily recommend to all of our friends and family.

Character and beauty

We had an excellent time at Saba Haveli. Everyone of the staff was super helpful and polite. The food served was excellent and the candlelight dinner on the rooftop with a glorious view of Nahargarh fort and the Garh Ganesh temple was the highlight of our stay. The property has a unique character which is hard to find in Jaipur. Our room was on the terrace. The room is massive and the views from the room are spectacular. Dhananjayji and his team work hard to provide a cozy and intimate atmosphere for all guests

Hidden gem in the heart of Jaipur

I stayed at Saba Haveli during the first weekend of July 2023. It was an honor to stay in a 300 year old property which has been well maintained - a well-balanced approach to a hotel which has retained its traditional accents while including essential modern amenities. The location is just 15-20 mins away from the main markets. The best part about Saba Haveli is the warmth shown by the owners - Dhananjay and his father. Kudos to them for maintaining this heritage property and for welcoming and taking such good care of guests. They are reasonably priced too - I encourage travelers who are keen to experience some history and culture and good hospitality to stay at Saba Haveli.

Heritage property and warm hosts

I have recently visited Jaipur with my wife. We stayed at Saba Haveli. I must say it was an amazing experience.  We had a relaxing stay. 

This is a 250 + years old property. We stayed in suite room it was nicely decorated, rooms vert clean neat airy and there was enough light in the room!  Room had a heritage feel, The property is owned by the residents of the Haveli Mathur family who also stay in the same Haveli as us but in different section.
The Owner and manager Mr. Dhananjay Mathur is very helpful person. He takes very good care of all the guests and attends them personally which make you feel that you are at someone's house and not at the commercial property.
 
Food was really good.  It has a touch of home made food, because it is freshly cooked everyday in their kitchen.

Support staff is limited but very helpful, they always cater to your needs 
There is one beautiful garden just opposite to Haveli nicely maintained. 

Overall it was enjoyable experience! I strongly recommend to visit and stay at Saba haveli if you are visiting Jaipur

A hidden gem in the heart of Jaipur city!

Simple and best hospitality in Haveli

This was the best place I’ve ever stayed! Such a beautiful property, so much history here and so lovingly maintained by Sanjay and his family. The place is even better than the photos! Incredibly generous hospitality was shown to me by Dhananjay and Sanjay. They looked after me like I was a long lost family member which I was particularly grateful for as a solo traveller. The meals were excellent and they connected me to drivers, train tickets, travel recommendations and even a surprise cake for my birthday. I loved my time here so much, I extended for an extra two nights and lapped up my dream of staying in a palace in India! Thank you so much, I can’t wait to come back!

Incredible stay with generous hospitality

Enjoyed a homely stay with excellent food.  The MD of hotel Mr. Dhananjay is so kind, so humble and down to earth guy.  
Its centrally located with easy access to the main market. One can enjoy picturesque view of the popular forts.

Homely hospitality with Sumptuous Food

Extrmely impressed with the place. Rooms are beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff is extremely cooperative and helpful! The place is also very safe, and any requests and requirements place were taken care of
