We enjoyed a really delicious lunch here recently. Initial table service was slow and we had to flag down a waiter to get his attention, after seating ourselves and waiting to be acknowledged. However, the food was well worth waiting for. The pork rib dish (which didn't actually resemble ribs as I know them) was amazing, and the mangalica pork was juicy, flavoursome and had been cooked with care. The duck leg dish also delivered, although the potato mash was a little underwhelming compared to the tasty baby jacket potatoes that arrived with the pork. An espresso and a shared dessert of somlói galuska finished lunch off nicely, although I always find that the canned whipped cream  gets a little excessive on desserts like this. With an atmospheric thunderstorm in the background, and after a long day of walking in the Bükk National Park, this meal really completed our day beautifully.

Fantastic 

This hotel is  a gem find. Pristine clean rooms with retro decor in a magnificent setting. Family friendly service and whatever we asked for, was delivered with a gracious smile. We had our meals on the terrace overlooking this beautiful lake that is set in the middle of the forrest accompanied by birdsong. A truly wonderful experience at very reasonable cost. Sadly, we had to leave too soon. A place we shall return to if possible and a place we can highly recommend.

Gastronomic delights in an enchanting enviroment with impeccable and friendly service

Stayed there for one night on 25th July.
The room was lovely and clean, the bathroom was equipped with a sauna cabin and a massive bath tub, all really modern. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly, no complaints. The restaurant offers a splendid selection of dishes and the chef did an excellent job, well done!

The only disappointment was the breakfast...we came down around 9.30AM and the buffet was almost "plundered" empty. We knew there was a wedding on the night before and it is pretty tough to prepare the dining room after such a busy event but still it should have been better coordinated. F&B team was short of staff in the morning which is not ideal on Sunday. 

Still our overall experience is positive and we would recommend the place to anyone.

Good hotel in a good location

This hotel has comfy beds, good wifi and in a brilliant location. The bathroom was small with one of those dangerous bath shower combo's and smelt a bit of mould. The food was good and so lovely to sit on the deck looking at the view. 

Fine, brilliant location. 

The restaurant is very nice and neat; has a beautiful view to the lake; please see the picture. 
The goulash soup was tasty and cheese cake was very good as dessert. 
The only minus ( also in our pocket) was from the waiter at the end ; he was very polite and he was serving us very well all the time, but after we already accepted a very bad rate change €/HUF assuming a very great tips of 30% of the bill, he came back rough after 5 minutes asking about his tips; of couse we have explained to him that we accepted his unfair rate change and he retreated and apologized for his behaviour

Stoping by for a goulash soup

We stayed here as part of a walking holiday . The room was lovely with views over the lake from a small balcony, smallish but ensuite facilities  and very clean. Unfortunately our room also overlooked the breakfast room which was being used for a wedding reception. We didn’t mind the party music until about 11pm and then some noise until 12-1, it was a wedding after all. However when it changed to the thud of rave music which continued until 4am it really was too much. This was then followed by the sound of equipment being cleared away. Had the room not been pre-paid I would have refused to pay however it was too difficult to explain/complain given my limited Hungarian ( and the fact that I was nearly dead in my feet).
