28 reviewsMy wife and me spent 2 nights in this hotel in the middle of April 2019. It is at a very good location, near a small lake called Sás-tó in the Mátra. The location is perfect if you intend to make excursions in the woods. The hotel is inside a campsite. Perhaps this is the reason why one gets (and has to wear) an ugly armband during his whole stay. Its annoying and uncomfortable... We were accommodated in a large, two-room apartment which was quite new(ish) and clean. The small fridge was a big plus. As it was still quite cold we were happy we had heating in the bedroom. Just as in case of other hotels of this type in Hungary the biggest problem was with the meal. The campsite has its own restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner. The former was so-so (but definitive plentiful), but the food at dinners was awful. Other than that the staff was overall friendly and helpful. The hotel has a spa area that I didn't visit but my wife had two sauna sessions and she enjoyed them. All in all the place worth being tried, just have dinner somewhere else.
