Supposedly this is (still)  a four stars hotel.  This hotel should be two stars.  the bed was ok, the bathroom functional the air-conditioning was way way loud and noisy.  Breakfast was substandard even though the waiter was polite and had the kitchen prepare fresh sunnyside up  eggs for us.  It is cleadn

This is not a 4 stars hotel according to EU standards. 
Rooms are outdated and in bad condition, with mold in several places The air conditioning filters are disgusting, probably weren't changed/cleaned in more than 10 years.
The breakfast was minimalist. 

Towels and linen were clean and there were basic amenities in the room. 
The room was silent at night and the location is great. 
The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything needed. 

Very expensive for the quality.

Not a 4 stars hotel

I recently accompanied my partner to an academic conference in Volos. Our stay at the Park Hotel was unpleasant. The air-conditioning is unsatisfactory and does not cool the room to a  comfortable temperature at any time of the day or night.The decor is up to date for the early 1980's and the bath seemed older and its surface was rather worn out. The room appeared clean but a glance near the skirting board while I was redeeming something I had dropped near the bed showed it had not been thoroughly cleaned. I noticed a pill from a previous guest and bits of grey fluff. There were no fresh vegetables at breakfast and the " hot" water for tea was nearer luke warm. The room was so hot we never desired the "tea" making facilities which incidentally did not include anything but some instant coffee in a sachet. There was no bottle of water waiting to greet us after a nearly three hour taxi journey from Thessloniki airport.
The staff on the desk are very kind and the roof bar modern and with an amazing view. 
All in all I would avoid staying at this hotel if you can.

AVOID IF YOU CAN

The reception area is ok.
The rest is in need of a massive overhaul. Poor quality, shabby furnishings and just generally quite grubby. I've stayed in better hostels.
The food wasn't great either. You could virtually pour the greek salad onto you plate as it was way past it's best.
It's a shame as the location is good and Volos is a great little city.

Old room without balcony,dirty and disgusting toilet for a four star hotel..
Really now?How they get it?
Only the price reminds the 4 🌟 88€per day.
Breakfast not bad but nothing so special.
The only advantance that the hotel still has is the location of the hotel which is one of the best. Opposite of a park for kids and with a lot of space for parking just in front of the sea.

Παραβίασε το προσωπικό την κλειδωμένη πόρτα του δωματίου μας. Νομίζω πως αυτό είναι επιλήψιμο από τον νόμο, αλλά εν πάσει περιπτώσει δεν καθιστά τον χώρο ξενοδοχείο. Μείνετε μακριά. 

Please stay away from this place, it's barely a "hotel". Some person broke into my room, after I had locked the door. They had previously tried three times, after I had spoken to the manager about it. I am considering calling the authorities.

A nightmare of hotel the air conditioning did not work I had set the temperature to 10 and nothing went. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very dirty Not recommended. The meetings room  was warmed up by the sun.And again with out Aircondition

A dreadful experience: lousy service, shabby rooms and facilities, air conditioning not working despite promises made by staff (pretty annoying when outside temperatures are close to 30°), inferior ‘quality’ of food at breakfast (hot food which turns out to be cold), incompetent staff. To be avoided by all means!
