We stayed here for a week in September. This mid-sized hotel is in a great position on the seafront. It is close to shops, restaurants and the ferry terminal. The staff/owners were pleasant and helpful.

The hotel was very clean. We had a sea view room with a balcony. The room was a good size with a large comfy bed (although the sheets were too small for the bed and the bed wasn’t completely made up every day). It was bright and well furnished with a good amount of storage space. There was an air conditioner, fridge and TV and enough sockets for charging devices. The WiFi worked well. The only thing that let the room down was the bathroom. The fittings and decor were tired. The washbasin tap wasn’t straight and had lost its shine and the shower cubicle was basic. The hot water sometimes took a long time to come through. Even though there were cafés and restaurants around and a taxi rank opposite, it was quiet at night.

There was a good breakfast buffet selection for a hotel of its size. There was a coffee machine, juice, bread, ham, cheese and some hot items (eggs, sausages, small pies) and cake. Most days there was water melon, unfortunately not every day.

The hotel has some allocated parking in front, but there is plenty of other parking nearby. We enjoyed our stay and felt the hotel was good value.

Good value, good location.

Very good hotel with great facilities. Close to the beach and city centre, with lots of restaurants and bars close by. The owner and her husband (and dog) are very nice. The breakfast is good and has some vegetarian options, and in general the hotel is very very nice for the price. We would definitely stay here again if going to thassos.

Perfect hotel for the price

A lovely, elegant and clean hotel, in the heart of Thassos capital and near the sea harbour. A family business with warm and caring hospitality. Easy parking space. Very good breakfast. Very kind stuff, providing all info. One of me favourite places!

Lovely hotel

We spent an enjoyable short holiday at Thasos and at Timoleon Hotel. The cleaning services were daily and adequate. Breakfast was luxurious and filling. Both the bed and the pillows were comfortable. Also the view of the port is picturesque and a major advantage.

Greatful weekend

We have stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and i have really enjoyed our staying. The hotel is placed in the middle of Limenas, near the center and near the port. As long as you have a room with sea view everything is perfect. If you have a room with balcony to the main street i think that at night it can be noisy. 

The room is a little bit small. The furniture is very nice. The bathroom is clean, but you can see that it is not new. The bed sheets were changed after every 2 days and the room was cleaned everyday. The staff is very friendly and helpful. 

Breakfast is very good, but it is the same everyday. I didn't mind that, as long as i had fresh fruit and vegetables. The room were you serve breakfast is very nice designed. 

All in all i recommend Timoleon Hotel. It is clean and well placed.

Very good

Hotel was in a great location.  On the front near the old harbour.  Staff were friendly and we got a parking space right outside hotel.  Had requested a sea view and balcony and were not disappointed.  Breakfast was included in the price and was very good.  Good selection of dishes and we were able to sit outside.

Week on Thassos

The hotel is one of the best we have stayed at. Perfect, central location. Great view in comfortable well designed rooms. Variety of quality food. The hosts were very hospitable and helpful. I am glad that we spent our holiday here.

Best place in Thassos

It is very good located,wright in the center of the action,very well designed and one of the best breakfast in town.The staff is very helpfull and the owner(very nice lady) is there every day.
 I stayed here 3 times and every time was perfect.
Good value for money,Defenitly come back.
