We stayed for a week in the Casa Kalami apartments. Davide was a brilliant host, always happy and chatty with nothing being too much trouble. The apartments are basic but extremely clean and there is everything you need 
The apartments are on a very steep hill and therefore would not recommend for someone who had difficulty walking, HOWEVER, there is a lift in the apartments next door which I understand from other reviews guests of Casa Kalami have used previously.
Bruno the dog is beautiful but quite nervous but Davide’s cats will let you stroke them. We had one visit us most morning at breakfast for a stretch in the sun
Davide takes great pride in his apartments and this can be seen in the way he presents them, he is such a lovely person. We hope to visit again very soon

Fantastic Host, Amazing Views, Definitely worth booking with Davide

This place is an absolute gem and well worth a visit. We stayed as a family of four for ten days and absolutely loved it.

It is run by a very friendly Italian couple, Davide and Fabian’s, for whom nothing was too much trouble. They were extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave some great tips about things to do and see.

The location is great, less than 5 mins walk to beach and centre. The views are incredible and livened up every breakfast and dinner on the terrace. 

The rooms are very comfortable with great air conditioning and a well-equipped kitchen. The family room is very spacious and would easily accommodate a family of five.

Kalami itself is a great spot. Lovely pebble beach with some fantastic and reasonably priced water sports. We loved Elia’s pool bar, hired a motorboat from the White House for a lovely day’s cruising with lunch on an isolated beach. If you have kids aqua land is a must!

Amazing views and great location

Tremedous views over the village of Kalami and down to distant Corfu Town.   Indeed it is possible to see the whole of the East coast of Corfu South of Kalami.   Davida, the proprietor, is genial, friendly and extremely helpful.   Nothing is too much trouble for him.   If you need something just ask.   Whilst he is Italian, his English is exceptional, having studied in the UK at Exeter.  The price of the views is the height of the property above the beach.   The walk down a concrete road is quick and easy but the return could challenge some.   It is possible to mitigate this by using the lifts in the adjacent San Antonio Resort, which has two lifts that take you most the way.   However, if you are at all frail or disabled, this place and the adjacent San Antonio will not be suitable for you, since they both require some significant exertion to reach the top.   Finally, animal lovers will be won over by Bruno, a red pointer girl dog that turned up as a stray puppy five years ago, moved in and now patrols the place keeping a check on everyone and everything.   Play fights with one of the cats are entertaining.   She is very shy and stays a bit distant.   Next time I am takind some dog treats to try to win her confidence.

Tremendous views and a an exceptional proprietor.

We stayed at Casa Kalami for three nights. We’re regular visitors to Corfu and it’s in the perfect location, the room was clean and functional, with great facilities. Davide is really friendly and very willing to help. We will be returning and would recommend to anyone.

Perfect location, lovely apartments

We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at Casa Kalami. We were greeted with a warm welcome from Davide, an excellent host who provides helpful information about the area and amenities. The view from our apartment was truly glorious and we would sit gazing across the bay and over to Albania. The appartment is simply and tastefully furnished with reliable hot water and good wifi. The walk down to the beach is very pleasant, albeit a bit steep, and is lit up at night. Local stores in the village deliver for free so we didn't need to carry heavy essentials (water, wine, beer etc.) up the hill. We had a lovely holiday and hope to return to Casa Kalami.

We had a wonderful week’s stay at Casa Kalami. The accommodation is simple, comfortable and immaculately clean - this suited us perfectly. The location is fabulous, very peaceful and quiet - the views from the rooms are absolutely stunning!!

Lovely stay at Casa Kalami

Davide welcomed us upon arrival, and took us to our cute studio with a PERFECT sea view! Our stay at Case Kalami was nothing short of brilliant. Highly recommended, and would definitely go back. Thank you :)

Fantastic service and accommodation

Was lucky to find this place on Trip Advisor after leaving it late to book in Kalami. Having stayed in the village numerous times, this is the best budget option I've tried by a long shot. 

Nice and close to the beach (may not be ideal for people who struggle with steep hills) and all the village has to offer, the room was clean and decently equipped with free air con.

Davide and his family went out of their way to suit our needs and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. 

Strongly recommend to anyone who wants a no thrills trip to one of Corfu's most beautiful spots.

Ace place to stay in Kalami

Excellent location over Kalami Bay, North of Corfu, famous for the Durrell's White House, Casa (House in Italian) with amazing view from private balcony, friendly english speaking owners (Davide & Fabiana) and very helpful (can advise you almost for everything!), clean rental apartments with adequate facility equipment, available parking lot, very near to restaurants by the seashore, beach with pebbles, a quiet place for couples and families. Keep in mind, the area is surrounded by hills and walk back home is not the easiest thing to expect. Also, roads are very narrow, drive carefully! Prices are affordable even in August period. Very Recommended, will not regret!

A wonderful place to spend your summer holdays!

We had great communication from Davide and Fabiana before we arrived and they were equally welcoming on arrival. 

Our studio was bright and airy and spotlessly clean with a few provisions too. Air con made it even more comfortable. There was everything we needed for a pleasant stay including clean towels every third day and beach towels were also provided. We even had use of a parasol and lilo. The private balcony meant we could enjoy meals outside with an amazing view over the bay. We would certainly recommend and would definitely stay again. Great value for money!

It was actually nice to be high up and was very peaceful!

This isn't really a negative but worth mentioning that the property is at the top of the hill. For some it would be quite a trek back up in the heat. We walked down the hill each day - a slow 3 mins walk - but on our return (in temps of 36 degrees) we used the two lifts in the hotel next door then walked down to Casa Kalami. Take the first lift to the main pool then walk along on the pool level to the next lift - go to level 4 - and you have a short flight of stairs up. Much easier.
