Amazing location and totally acceptable accommodation, the first hotel where I’ve had to pay 10€ (one week) to use the already installed freezer which seems a bit stingy. Basic breakfast but acceptable..The owner lady a bit moody and perhaps should consider retirement BUT the daughter is the most wonderful lady and made the stay wonderful.

Moody owner but wonderful location

Hard beds and loudly rooms (you hear your neighbors).
But the view over the sea is magical. 

The lady and her daughter made the stay at the hotel feel like we was at home.

You need to pay for the ac and freezer due to high electricity prices. It’s cost around 50€ for one week.

But over all it’s a hotel worth the low cost.

Trip to Samos 

The hotel stays so close to the port of Vathi and it is located near to Gagou Beach. The rooms have a wonderful seaview. Especially, the owner of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. You may chat her about everything with pleasure during your stay. She allowed us to take a shower in the room lately although we checked out. If i want to pass a peaceful time on my vacation, i can choose Bella Vista Hotel without hesitation.

Just near by Vathi port,so close to sandy beach,all rooms has sea view,
owner Cleo so nice,helpful and kindly woman,rooms cleaning everyday,and resonable prices,
so cool have a rest on balcony and help yourself for drink

Cleo's paradise

The location of the hotel is OK with nice views over the bay - situated nearby a nice beach with nice services provided.

That said, the cleaning standard was very poor - especially in the bathroom where we simply had to clean the toilet and zink etc. ourselves.

The beds were very uncomfortable and the cabinets meant for cloth very dirty - likewise the floor seemed not to be cleaned with water and soap.

The breakfast was not eatable except from the bread and we strongly recommend to bring your own kettle for making coffee/tea with you and supply yourself with coffee/tea/cheese/eggs etc.

Value for money except from a very poor cleaning and breakfast

My mom and I stayed at Hotel Bella Vista just outside Samos Town in june 2011 and had the best vacation ever. Bella Vista is a very simple hotel, if you need high speed internet, swimming pool, all inclusive and noisy entertainment, you should avoid this hotel. 
The rooms are simple and clean, and the view over the bay is an amazing thing to wake up to. The staff is a small greek family, and they are extremely friendly people. If you want a quiet hotel free from noisy families with children and loud hotel entertainment, and in walking distance from both the city and the most charming little beach, this is definitely the hotel for you!
