We stopped at this property only for a night out of emergency and left with a very positive impression. Mike and his sister were the most kind and helpful, they made us feel like home, even for a night. They are an asset to the apartments!
The pool area is very cozy and inviting and the hotel grounds in general are well kept. The room was spacious and the kitchen was fully equipped (fridge, electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, sandwich/wafel maker, water kettle, etc). The own private terrace was also a nice size.
It is a property where you also get service, not just a room.

Wonderful staff

Mike greeted us as we arrived and was very friendly, giving us all of the recommendations. He gave us a choice of rooms that were available. Room was clean, spacious and air conditioned with appropriate commodities, and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and found it a very peaceful and relaxing place, a bit off the beaten path. The staff being so friendly and helpful was a highlight of the place. Would definitely stay again, thanks very much!

It was our fourth time at avra apartments. Always here when in Lefkada. As always, peace and kindness. Kostas and all the staff will make you feel like at home. The place is magic. You cannot ask more.

Peace and kindness

A very family friendly place. It is clean in the rooms and in the pool. The garden is very nice and quiet. The pool is nice and the outdoor bar is good. There is also a part of the pool for small children.

I would to express my satisfaction that we spent our holiday at this facility.
Beside small problems, that I know that is not related to management, it was pleasure to be on Lefkada and this apartments.
I'm technical person and I'm strict with words, but it is just enough (I hope so) that if we return back to Lefkada, for sure we will stay at same facility! Also, I will strongly recommend it to everyone who wants to visit and stay at Lefkada.
Regarding local personal, I want to say that Mavra (I forgot her real name) and Tasos. were excellent. Beside usual know places at Lefkada, Tasos give us very useful information about not-so-known places.
Yes, it can be a problem with noise during night, but overall it was quite good experience. From my point of view and way how we spent holidays (by visiting as much as possible different places), location of apartments was excellence, in order that we easily can reach any direction /road.

Nice stay

The apartments are of good quality, reasonably well equipped. Air con works well. Nice pool and generally helpful staff. A couple of points to note are that the location is not good, there is absolutely nothing within walking distance ie no taverna, beach etc so you will definitely need your own transport. Quite a few things went wrong during our stay, the bed was broken, light bulb needed replacing and the bathroom flooded completely showing that nothing really had been checked prior to arrival. There was also another problem with the water supply that failed albeit on only one occasion. All these things were addressed promptly by the staff though, however when we had reported the flooding they had obviously used a knife from the kitchen to clear the obstruction as we found it had been left on the bathroom sink after they had left. Noise at night was something of a problem, no staff are at the premises overnight and this led to some issues with unruly kids or rather their parents thinking that its ok for their kids to jump in and out of the pool at midnight and shout and scream while others are trying to have a quiet drink on their terrace or get some rest. Again though the staff did try to do something about it. Internet was a complete joke, very slow indeed and kept on falling out.
The man who ran things day to day along with a very nice helpful lady was a bit of a wheeler dealer I have to say, he originally apologised for all the above and offered us a 10% discount on our stay as an apology which we accepted. He then said that we would have to cancel our reservation with booking.com and pay in cash which I wasn't happy to do, this appeared just to be a ruse on his part to avoid the establishment paying any tax or commission to booking.com which would net him well over 10%. I refused. When it came to check out though I queried this with the lady and said that 10% off as an apology should be the same however I pay or whoever I use. She then rang the owner who said that I could have the 10% and pay by card but that I must let them cancel the booking.com reservation. Again I refused and eventually they agreed to the 10% off as an apology.
All in all a nice place but they need someone on the premises all the time and dont need to be scamming to get out of paying tax and commission. The location will always be a bit of let down though.
