Spent 2 weeks here on my own as I could not get accommodation in the hotel my friends were staying at the same time. However, the location was ideal for visiting the many tavernas, bars and shops in Skala, so I had a much easier walk home than them at night. My room was spotless and linen changed frequently. Air-con included, which was a godsend as the days got hotter. Owner George was delightful and made me feel very welcome.  

Relaxing holiday in lovely location

Was greeted warmly by George the owner of Villa Sofia.
We had a room on the ground floor, it was large with 2 twin beds, a kitchenette and bathroom. 
The kitchen was well equipped with 2 hobs, a fridge (with ice box), but we only used it for making tea/coffee.  There was washing up liquid and cloths  which was a nice touch.
We had plenty of  cupboard space with several coat hangers. 
The room also had a small table and chairs if you wanted to eat in.
The bathroom had a small bath with a shower to rinse your hair. There was plenty of hot water too.  The hairdryer was powerful too and could be taken off the wall to be used in the bedroom next to a mirror.
We didn't meet the lady who does the cleaning, but she did a wonderful job, the beds were changed twice during the week and also regular towel changes.
The air con was efficient and you didn't need a masters degree to use the safe, just a key.  Both were included in the price of our stay.
There was also a TV in the room.
Villa Sofia is in a quiet area,  10 minutes from the beach and a few minutes to the main street where most of the restaurants and bars are.
George was a brilliant host and was around if you needed him - we had a lovely holiday at the Sofia and hope to return in the near future.

Excellent stay

I liked everything about this property.  We were given a very warm welcome by George the owner and the lady who does the cleaning.  We were taken to a lovely bright room number 8 on the first floor, in the lift, which is great for getting your luggage up and down.  It was much bigger than I expected.  The bedding and towels were crisp and bright white and changed during our 5 night stay. There is ample pots/pans/plates to make a meal, a fridge, safe, hairdrier. The air conditioning works well. The property is only a 2 minute walk to the main square by the church, but very quiet. At night if you are lucky you might spot one of the Owls that frequent the area, as one side of the property is open farmland.  Parking on the quiet road outside. George recommended a nearby restaurant Apostolis which was excellent and we visited 3 times during our stay.  George is a lovely man, nothing is to much trouble.  As we had a late flight it was agreed in advance to keep our room until 6pm for a very reasonable fee, which was great as we could enjoy the whole day at the beach and freshen up before leaving.  George was there to wave us off.  He is a lovely man who cares about his customers.  I would stay here again without hesitation.

Lovely quiet apartments, near everything with great host

We have just returned home after a lovely weeks stay in Villa Sofia. The accommodation is situated in a quiet area but only two minutes walk from the centre of Skala with all its shops and restaurants and around five minutes to all the beaches.
Villa Sofia is immaculately clean and fresh and our studio apartment airy and bright (the photos didn't do it justice). Our studio on the first floor had a lovely balcony, was well equipped including air conditioning, WiFi and a safe and it was cleaned everyday with changes of bedding and towels through the week. 
George the owner was very welcoming when we arrived and made us feel at home immediately. Thank you George we had a lovely holiday.
We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely quiet self catering accommodation in the edge of Skala. George the owner is a wonderful welcoming gentleman who can help with anything you need, including arranging airport transport. The villa Sofia is about 10 minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the bars and restaurants.
Overall a fantastic holiday will definitely stay here again when we return.

Fabulous 

My wife daughter and myself  booked  an 11 night stay in Pastra lets say it wasn't for us after 2 nights in the mountains  and an electrical blackout after turning the  cooker on .  we couldn't stay any longer . Everywhere else was booked up in and around Skala .The next day I saw a vacancy had come up at  villa Sofia so decided to drive there instead of booking on line we met George the owner what a wonderful and genuine man he his ,and the rest is history  a great place everything you need is here.
