This was our second visit in two years. We love the location of this well run complex, close to the airport and with
several sandy beaches within 10-15 minutes drive. We always hire a car as Kefalonia is quite a big island with plenty of activities and beaches/places to visit, though we also enjoy spending some days relaxing by the pool which is never crowded.
Lakithra has maintained the character of a small traditional Greek village which is lived in all year around, so you can find a bakery, a few tavernas and a convenience store within walking distance but it has not been commercialised like some other resorts.
Coming back here felt like coming to a second home, thanks to Georgios and his team who can’t do enough to assist and made us feel like family. We will certainly be back to relax and enjoy the beautiful views next year.


Breathtaking views in a quiet location

We stayed in the Superior Holiday Home with Sea View with our dog. The view from the balcony was incredible the space was very large, comfortable and clean. The complex itself is situated 5 min drive from the airport and in a quiet and peaceful location. The swimming pool is amazing! Lots of sun beds and we had it to ourselves most of the time. The owners and their children and extremely helpful, polite and always on hand if you need them. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing week away in the heart of Kefalonia.

Amazing for our needs

Absolutely lovely set of apartments in stunning surroundings and beautiful views. We had one of the holiday homes which was immaculately clean and well thought out. The relaxed and informal atmosphere is just what we prefer and we loved the location too, Lakithra is very pretty with everything you need. Car hire is not technically an essential as there are tavernas and shops within walking distance but there are so many beautiful villages and beaches to visit so we prefer to have a car for the whole duration.
Friendly and welcoming staff, stunning setting, peace and quiet, sitting on the veranda with a glass of Robola, what more do you need!

Perfect for us

We loved it here. Villa Theodora is well run, clean,friendly and ideal for families. The pool is excellent and we were often the only guests using it. Our apartment was spacious and clean with quaint, rustic decor. The views are just fabulous. A hire car is a must for Kefalonia and Villa Theodora is well placed for visiting the south of the island although the famous Myrtos beach was only a 35 minute drive and Fiskgard about an hour in total. However, we found the nearby Avithos beach to be the best for families. A great family holiday, we will definitely book again.

A hidden gem

My cousins and I stayed for a week and it was a lovely villa. Quiet area, nice views and perfect for families. The owner George was so helpful, welcoming and friendly. The rooms are a decent size and well furbished. The garden area with hammocks and swimming pool were beautiful. It was quiet when we stayed so for the majority of our time we had the pool to ourselves. The villa is slightly hidden away but supermarkets and local restaurants are within walking distance. For the price I would highly recommend! :)

Relaxing and friendly. Loved the pool!

What a lovely place to stay in, beautiful clean villas, newly decorated. Nice furniture, comfortable beds. Kitchen area has a basic equipment. Stunning see views from the BED! Lol as well as terrace. Nice well kept pool area and garden is lovely. And sooo many beautiful butterflies around. Love it. Its quiet, close everywhere if you have rented car. And there is a church that rings the most beautiful sound, could stay here much much longer.
