Me and my wife had an amazing stay in Thalia Apartments, Fira. Its a spacious blue and white decorated budget apartment.
It's near to main Fira market square (5-10 min walk) and Fira bus stand. 

Host - Ms. Thalia was an amazing host and kind person and she took good care of us.

She even arranged an extra stay of 8 hours for us at another place on our request.

Thalia herself welcomed us and is warm and friendly and helpful. Rooms are stylish and spacious and cleaned daily by the staff. Air conditioning, great wifi, and a kitchen with the basics.

Location just off the main road in Fira is central and convenient to everything. Scooters are not necessary to get around Fira, but they make the rest of the island a lot more accessible.

Only criticism is that the towels are crunchy hard and the beds are a little creaky when you move around. :)

Our group consisted of 5 people (all friends) and before leaving Greece, we made sure to make a stop over in Santorini. I booked with Thalia through booking.com and she was great from the beginning. I was unsure of the room layout as we would need at least 3 beds (2 double, 1 single). She helped arrange a private van pick up from the airport upon arrival, 30 euros for all us. It worked out for the best since we were arriving at 11pm and it was pitch black outside. I don't know how we would have gotten there without her arrangement. The driver was great, drove safe and was very courteous. When we arrived, she was there to greet us, give us the key, gave us advice on where to go etc. 

Our room which was on the ground level with walk out access from the bedroom was very large, spacious and priced just right. It had 4 beds, 2 in the kitchen area (still plenty of space to cook, eat and wash dishes) and 2 in the bedroom (1 single, 1 double). There was a door separating the kitchen and the bedroom which was great if you need to change or have some privacy. The washroom was clean but no shower curtain. Needless to say the floor was wet most of the time from everyone showering. Thalia does come with fresh towels everyday and does light cleaning when you aren't there. There was no issue with hot water. Free wifi which was spotty at times (I think it may have been another couple there at the time who kept streaming shows - they rarely went out lol) but good enough for us to search up things to see in the area. The kitchen had pots to use and leftover soap that someone left behind. Only thing was no salt and pepper so we did eat some bland food as it made no sense buying some at the store. 

Her apartment is about a 8 minute walk into the town centre with plenty of shops and restaurants. There is also a bus station and car rental places. We grabbed breakfast, lunch and dinner at Lucky's Souvlakis, best we had! I love how the gyros in Greece include fries, lettuce, tomato and tzatziki all for about 2 euros! There is a grocery as well where we bought ingredients for an inexpensive dinner :)

We ended up renting a car for 3 days to explore the island a bit more in depth. Thalia was great in helping us confirm pick up for a sunset tour we were doing. She used her cellphone to call for us and spoke to them in Greek so we would have no issues. We also took a tour with Kostas who is an amazing tour guide!!

The apartment was great! Large, clean and with two large balconies, one on each side of the building so that we could choose the more comfortable in case of wind/sun. We had a sea view from our room. They clean the apartment daily. The only two things missing are the shower curtains and a cooking area in the kitchen. Thalia is a wonderful host, she received us at 3 o’clock in the morning cause our boat was late. She can provide you a shuttle to reach the apartment from the port/airport in case of need. The location is 5 min walking from Thíra and the city center close to everything you need.

It is located in the center of Fira, yet it is very quiet. The rooms are wide and clean and the host was really kind and helpful. The only not so positive thing is that there were not kitchen stuff (pans, etc) for cooking.

Very nice welcome. Very large studio, with separated fully equiped kitchen. Nice bedrool. Nice terrasse for breakfast,.. Just 10 minutes walk from bus terminal. Perfect place to stay for reasonable price for Santorini 
TV could be improved. WIFI should be available
