Best apartment I’ve ever stayed in, pool was like the blue lagoon, room should be classed as 5*! Proper jungle Shower, Owners were lovely and were accommodating at every single second of the day. Make sure to book this great apartment, perfect for a nice little getaway!

Crystal apartments holiday review

Pool was lovely and refreshing, owners where amazing and very friendly couldn’t ask for anything more for a quick get away. Would defo recommend to anyone who wants somewhere cheap and cheerful very pleasant stay.

So as all other reviews, if you want 5 star accommodation this is not for you! If you want total hospitality, peace and quiet and to be treated like royalty, this is for you! Beautiful surrounding 24 hour pool, the friendliest owners cant  do enough for us! We here on pur 3rd day, its fab and we are loving life! Corfu is waiting for you all, they need you please don't be afraid, we came by air from Leeds it was a seeml

I spend 2 wonderful nights.Awsome people,You think that you are in paradise with trees and fruits all around you.
The pool is 1 meter away from your room.
Perfect for recommendation.The best thing was that the night swimming was not forbidden.

2 nights in Paradise.

Firstly having been to Greece a lot, I accept the accommodation can be basic so let's not even go there.

We were apprehensive about coming to Kavos as we just wanted to chill and read.

We really landed on our feet with this apartment. Everything you need for a basic self catering yet only about 5 minute walk through a short cut to the madness or 10
Minutes by the road.

Many times we were the only people by the pool and no annoying teenagers doing balloons or shots to be seen!

The owner and his wife live on the top floor
Of the complex and they are eager to help in anyway. You almost feel like part of their extended family with the dog and cat coming to say hello.

If you want some peace in a town of madness! This is the place for you!

A slice of paradise amongst the madness

ive never been to corfu before but ive been to most  of the islands     this trip  was last min   and i have to say   most relaxing   break  i've had   i thought september    the weather   but it   was fantastic   30 +   kavos   is a party   town    but   relax   too  the couple  who own  the crystal   are  very nice      they are a cedit   to greece   all of the  people  in kavos   are  v nice   this hotel is a 5 min walk  from town center  and beach   im  goin   back    ..and  ders a  big Kangal  dog  der     he was my best  friend for the week

great  spot  home from home

this  was a lovely, well looked after hotel, when we arrived we were greeted by a little Greek man who was very welcoming and lovely, there was no waiting around we told him the booking name and he took us straight to our room, FREE WIFI, clean facilities, and there is a really cute big dog who sits on the balcony called Leo, who is harmless and just chills out all day which is really cute

We were really nervous about coming to Kavos! Obviously we'd heard it's pretty mad, and driving through the strip at 1am when we arrived didn't do much to make us feel better. Luckily we soon arrived at Crystal which is, as the others have said, a bit of peace among the madness.

I'll get the bad stuff out of the way first. It's very basic and the decor is seriously dated. The beds are uncomfortable. There's not much in the way of mosquito prevention (so we got seriously eaten) & the air con is charged per ROOM, rather than per apartment (we were in a two room apartment). That said, it's clean, spacious and - as we were on the top floor - we had a lovely big balcony.

The gardens are beautiful and the pool is wonderfully quiet - no blaring music or pool bar, and most of the time we had it all to ourselves. The owners don't speak much English but are really lovely & accommodating. The dog is great and so are the little kittens outside the door! The supermarket is literally just around the corner so great for stocking up on water. 

You could happily spend your entire holiday in this hotel and leave feeling very happy & relaxed, just venturing out for food. I wouldn't hesitate to return here & would recommend it to anyone who wants a very different Kavos experience :)

Surprisingly relaxing!

We stayed at this hotel for a bank holiday weekend. It is a very different experience to any regular hotel, almost like you're staying at the owners' personal home. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner who gave us fruit and showed us around the room. The rooms are very bog standard. If you are self catering and plan to cook, you may have a bit of difficulty as there is only a fridge and two mini hobs. A family that were staying at the same time complained of this. The shower was not the best, you had to hold the shower head as there was no where to mount it in the wall. Air con is charged at 5 euro per night. The pool was nice, but it is also quite small. There are many wasps and mosquitos about but this is the case for the whole island. Overall the hotel is very relaxed and quiet. To get to the main strip it is about a 10 minute walk through an off road pathway with plenty of trees and there is also a small wooden bridge you have to cross to get over a small stream. It was a bit scary to do late at night! The owners were very lovely and always checking if you were happy. However, on our last day our transfer time was not until 6:30pm and I think they were getting a bit annoyed that we were waiting around late even though they said it was okay. You do get what you pay for with this hotel.
