Our stay at Morpheas Rooms was absolutely perfect. The rooms are cosy and immaculately maintained to a very high standard. We had a sea view, overlooking a beautiful calm bay, perfect for lazy beach days and snorkeling. The owners were very friendly and took care of any queries we had. The room had everything necessary to store and prepare food for our daily adventures. We will absolutely stay here again, thank you for everything!

Looking forward to coming back

The room was smaller than expected but meet our needs.  The cleaned the rooms every day was unexpected, but greatly appreciated after a day of sun and sand.  A nice beach was across from the Morpheus Rooms.  A very nice taverna with great food was a five-minute walk.  About a ten-minute drive and you are in the small port city of Paleochora.  There are tons of tavernas and places to have a drink and watch the sunset. The owner and the people working in the Morpheas are warm, and friendly and add another layer of what makes this place a great gateway for couples and families.

Quiet place for a Getway

We enjoyed staying at Morpheas Rooms very much. They were clean, well kept, the place is silent but still close to a (organized) beach and a very good restaurant (taverna Grameno). Morpheas room has also its own parking place. We recommend this place and are looking forward to coming back!

Silent, clean and close to a nice beach, very kind owner

This was our second year staying at Morpheas Rooms for our October holiday.  We love it here.   Being out of Paleochora town, it is very quiet yet only 5 minutes drive away for when we need to resupply or see the sights.  The location is perfect, being under 5 minutes walk from the beach and within easy staggering distance of three of the best-rated restaurants in the Paleochora region.  The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean and equipped with a very wide range of kitchen appliances.  The manager, Haris, is very friendly and helpful, and is usually to be found in his basement office.

Thoroughly recommended!

Quiet, comfortable and friendly

had a sea-facing room with balcony, comfortable, clean, and ample space on balcony for breakfast, towel drying, an evening beer as the sun goes down. Just across quiet road from a child-friendly beach, ample non-furniture covered sand. Several restaurants above the extensive beach area, and fun to explore the Grameno area. Easy access to Paleochora (5 minutes by car) from where regular minibus transport to head of Agia Irini and Samaria gorges can be booked. (Return ferry from foot of both gorges terminates in Paleochora, close to minibus pick-up, so convenient for car. While it's possible to walk along the coast to Elafonisi, its a long walk and, unless out of season, will be both hot and disappointing when you reach your destination (vastly over-crowded). Shade for parking. Friendly and helpful proprieter.

Great value, great location for beach

After 14 days in Crete and seven different hotels Morpheas Rooms were the winner. Great location, far enough from Paleochoroa not to be in the crowd and to be close to great beaches, where you can enjoy the sea alone. And close enough to the Paleochoroa to enjoy its beauties and charm. Unfortunately I have forgott the name of the gentleman who took care for us and for the premises. He was amazing. The clean and spacious room with the great view on the sea. A large parking at the site. Easy to stay there for a longer period.

The vinner of the trip

From the owner, Haris's, friendly & informative welcome to our sad departure after 8 wonderful days, we enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Morpheas Rooms. The rooms are clean, have every facility and the balconies have great views of the sea and surrounding countryside. There are 3 good tavernas nearby but there is no disturbance from them or from the road as the rooms stand well back in their own grounds. It's a real treat to walk straight from the rooms to the sandy beach already in beach attire and there to find  a choice of umbrellas/sun loungers (5Ee for 2 loungers and one umbrella). There is a supermarket about 1K away but we would recommend you have a hire car to potter into nearby Paleochora for supplies, ATMs, or to discover the traditional villages hidden away just behind the surrounding hills. Thank you Haris for letting us realise many of our dreams in your Morpheas Rooms.

Nice host, nice place, private beach, we got nice fredo expersso, the only thing that didn't work properly was AC...
Beach is in walking distance cca 2-3min walk also city is very near so all is nearby and place is cosy, so I definitely recommend.

Nice place for decent price also with nice beach in walking distance

The room was in older conditions and wasnt really spacious. Beds were alright. Everything you need to cook and fix food. Nice beach right in front of the rooms. Little playground inside the property. Possibility to park in the shadow inside the property.
