We stayed at Peaceful Bay for 13 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience.  The accommodation is located right on the sea, with your own direct access into the large clear swimming pool (the ocean).  The sea is crystal clear and so refreshing!

We had one of the downstairs studios, which was compact with everything that you needed.  A comfortable double bed, a decent shower and bathroom and a great outside seating area with a large table and four "director" type chairs.

The studio was well maintained and spotlessly clean, with all the linen and towels being changed on a regular basis.  We were well looked after by Tonia and Stavroula, who could not do enough for you and were very friendly and always available to help or provide some advice on the area.

The accommodation is located in a lovely village that is quiet and has a bus stop directly outside the property.  We did not have a car and used the bus to get around, as the bus service is very reliable and frequent and goes around the main places on the island.  The fare to Ermoupoli is €1.70 for roughly a 40 minute journey.

Tonia keeps the fridge stocked with all the staples you may need while on holiday.  It is a great advantage, if like us you arrive late and need a quick snack and drink when you arrive.  As you use the products they are refreshed and charged at the local rate.  It is a great service and provides an additional support to the limited shop that is in the village.

If you want a peaceful holiday in a great location with excellent unspoilt views over to the local islands this is the place.  Syros as a whole is an excellent place to spend a vacation and you will definitely be looked after by Tonia and Stavroula.

Peaceful Bay with a  Peaceful Stay

This little gem is perfectly situated only 15 minutes away from Ermoupolis, Syros. From the moment we arrived Tonia, the owner of the property, made us feel very welcomed and went literally out of her way to assist us in order to have an amazing experience. 
The property sits right next to the sea, offering blissful vistas toward the Aegean and the islands beyond. 
The rooms were very comfortable, sparkling clean and decorated in a casual and relaxing way, exactly how  is needed in order to really get away from it all! The bathroom was stocked with products and replenished as needed.  The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary gadgets to prepare breakfast or a quick meal and that added to the carefree atmosphere of the establishment. 
The refrigerator and the little pantry was filled with different options that made it very convenient to prepare quick meals and snacks and they were restocked  by the management which saved us from trips to convenient stores and supermarkets. 
The unobstructed views of the sea and the few steps that separated the room from the sea is one of the biggest assets of this place.  Whether someone wants privacy or mingle with people, Peaceful Bay is able to offer both. Only a few meters away there is an organized beach, with facilities, cafes and a convenience store as well as restaurants. For those who prefer to enjoy swimming in a less crowded area they can just dip in front of their room. Nothing beats that!
There is a bus stop right outside the property that can take you to Ermoupolis or other beaches around the island. Ample parking space can facilitate those who elect to drive their own vehicle. 
Lastly I want to mention that at the heart of this beautiful hotel and behind everything is Tonia! Her sweet personality, cheerful attitude and warm hospitality is what makes this hotel a must destination for those who really want to taste a true Greek summer vacation. 
I will not forget the tasty little sweet pies, halvadopita a local specialty, that was waiting for us in the room when we checked in and of course the very special gesture of buying a backgammon for us when we asked for one!! Need I say more?

Paradise on earth!

Extremely clean room, spacious apartment with big balcony and great view. Direct access to the beach. Very good service and communication with the landlords. Overall we had an amazing time and we will visit again in the future!

Wonderful vacation

 If you're looking for peace and quiet and absolutely gorgeous views. in a beautiful location with excellent facilities and caring owners always available on-site for help and advice, this is perfection.  We've come across several delightful apartments in Greece and Croatia over the years, but this little gem is as good, if not better than any of them.
The large,protected and well-equipped balconies give you a glorious view across the Med to Paros, Naxos and Sifnos and immediately below the apartments a few steps lead down to a small, virtually private sunbathing shelter and ladder into the clear turquoise water of the lovely little bay protected from the North winds..
Cleanliness was impeccable - towels and bins daily and thorough cleaning every other day.
Talaras Taverna is 2-300 metres along the road and is really, really good and the little village minimarket is the same sort of distance, while it is only 15 minutes or so by car into Ermoupolis.  There is ample on-site parking and the bus stop is right outside the apartments.
We were totally captivated for the two weeks we stayed at Peaceful Bay - thank you so much Litsa, Ioannis and Katerina.

How do you beat this?

It was recommended by a friend who stayed at the hotel, last summer. Our flat at the 1st floor had a large veranda with a wonderful view of the Aegean sea, comfortable, clean, well equiped with private bathroom, kitchenette, A/C, TV set, Wifi, coffee machine, hair dryer etc. Very quiet location, free car parking next to the flat, walking distance to the nearby beach.

RECOMMENDED WITH NO DOUBT

Very nice spot in a quiet area.
Next to the sea (literally 7 steps from the sea to swim and 20 steps to the beach).
Family friendly and (for us) dog friendly!! The rooms are very clean and the owner, Mrs. Evangelia is very polite and warm. 
The area is 15 mins to the main town but you can enjoy full peaceful days and nights in the room and surrounding area.
I would definitely come again!!!
