All in all we were satisfied with our stay here. The style is quite "kitsch" when you look at it from the outside, and inside it's the same -.- Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The rooms were cleaned daily. Our room was facing one of the main streets, so it did get loud at times. The breakfast buffet was good with a selections between cheeses, hams, fruites, etc. and with the possibility to ask the staff for a different variety of eggs, omelette, bacon & eggs, etc. Nice coffee machine. Fresh "Brötchen" each morning. The staff was very nice, in particular our cleaning lady. Mannheim can be reached via train (10 minutes), and the train station is only a 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. There are trains each 30 minutes. A round trip for 2 costs about 8-9 euros.
