Sad check-in experience as no one was there when we wanted to check-in. By phone, we were given the access code for the door on the right.
We were told which room to take. No one else was at the hotel. The restaurant was closed as well.
It was not very clean. All in all, it did not look well maintained - even though it was obviously completely refurbished a couple of years ago. But these days are over now. Some things were broken or did not work. Well, maybe this is due to COVID. I don't know.
Additionally, it's not very quiet, as the hotel is next to the main street of that village.
I can only recommend it for one night when being in transit - and make sure to bring your own dinner.

The best days seem to be over here.

This hotel is ideally situated near the bird park. If you're traveling from Lyon you can stop here for one or two nights while visiting the park.
The hotel is modern but not a chain. A friendly family runs the hotel.
The only drawback is that there is no Wi-Fi. For dinner and for internet you can go to their sister hotel, the Regina.
Overall a good experience here at Carpe Diem.
