The site is in an excellent position overlooking the beautiful coastline of St Gildas point. But having chosen a place and got set up we had to de-camp and move because we 'were not facing the correct way'. The water in the showers is not warm enough [others have said the same]. We paid for 2 nights in advance and when we left the woman in reception did not believe us. We had to produce our receipt, which meant blocking the barrier so that a queue of vehicles [hooting] built up. There are no parking spaces outside as they are all taken up by cars. There was no apology.

Very disappointed

Would recommend for a family holiday in high season, or a quiet retreat out of season.

There is nothing to dislike - sanitary blocks are spotless and plenty of hot water for showers . Lovely swimming pool and water warm.  

 Cycle path behind camp site following coast path, great for safe cycling.

Will definitely book here again.

Beautiful clean site with amazing views

Arrived late on a Saturday,having spoken to Cassandra on the phone, what a lovely helpful young woman with excellent English, Alexia and Helene were equally friendly and eager to help,during our stay. We originally thought we would only stay a few nights,but ended up staying a week. Pitches are ample with a parking policy which allows a view for everyone of the sea. The washing up and the laundry room also have a view which makes the more mundane tasks more enjoyable!!The pool and shower areas are spotless, also the grounds are well maintained.Direct access to a coastal path,with a walk to town 20mins or a longer walk your choice, or just fish or read in the little coves along the way.Water points can be a good distance from pitch, so top up before going to pitch, also some pitches can be difficult to level,( larger chocks) but totally worth the effort.We will return next year PG.

Lovely relaxed vibe, but excellent customer service.

First impressions not always the best to go by. On arrival wasn’t sure as small pitches and extremely busy with french weekend campers.
We were given a pitch amongst the statics (all they had left) but found the majority where residents and it was a very pleasant.
A lot of the pitches have a wonderful seaview and campers were  happy to sit outside and enjoy. No trouble or rowdy behaviour although the campsite was full.
The pool is lovely as is the outside bar area.
Showers cleaned regularly.
Sometimes campsites just have that je ne sais quoi.

Loved it!

I'd booked five days at a different campsite near La Baule which turned out to be awful.

We found this place as an alternative and checked in on our second night.

It's a wonderful location.

The welcome was great, the facilities were as good as any campsite I've stayed at. It's a lovely walk along the coastal path to Prefailles where there are pleasant bars and restaurants.

We'd go back.
