Lovely views and fundamentally a nice site. Problem was so many flies, not just one or two but swarms of meat flies. So bad that you couldn’t cook outside or even sit outside. Nobody seemed to stay more than a couple of nights and I’m assuming this is why. Shop is minimal and hot water was intermittent. The cleanliness of the bathrooms was poor also, luckily we had our own facilities. Lourdes and the area around is beautiful too. Go to the church, light a candle and soak up the serenity even if you aren’t a believer. 
Would we return? No definitely not, but would I recommend it for a base if you’ve got other things off the site to do.

Land of the Flies!

We loved staying at camping d'arrouach! This is a very calm and pretty family camping site. It's definitely on the cheaper side for such a beautiful camping site. It's surrounded by beautiful nature and you can reach Lourdes easily by bus. A bakery and small shops are in walking distance. The hosts (it's a family-owned camping ground) are very kind and tried their best to make us feel welcomed. Communication with them was easy and pleasant. Sanitary facilities could be cleaner but we think that that's the guests' fault rather than the hosts'. Being able to pet the family's cute baby goats was a wonderful extra! Would definitely reccommend!

Great place

Excellent 5 day stay in a mobile home with our disabled son. Fabian and Anya sorted out some problems with 
our son during our stay.  We could not fault the mobile home or our hosts..We will be returning again.

Visiting the shrines at Lourdes

The site is clean and tidy with a friendly welcome. Electric connections are either UK or French but you can borrow adapter. 30 mins fast walk to the Grotto, or do as we did and park by Hotel Paradis. 1 euro an hour. 
Campsite has everything we want, but we could have done with a pool as it was 36 reg on arrival. But in the evening the mountain air is fresh and cool. 
1.2 miles to fantastic Auberge in Poueyfrere. Simply beautiful but not on trip adviser. 
This view is just along road of campsite. Super views from pitch as well. 
Also has gites and Ohara style chalets and pods, so good location for family pilgrimage. 

Perfect spot for visiting Lourdes and family pilgrimage on holiday

We spent our Easter holidays at this beautiful place and got very satisfied with our experience: we rented a 2-bedroomed mobile home and it couldn't be cleaner and more modern and stylish. Everything worked well. The owners of Camping Arrouach pay much attention to the details. The place is perfectly equipped, the facilities are the most modern thing we've seen staying in campings in Europe. The location of the place is strategical: at 7 minutes' distance by car from Lourdes and its Sanctuary. We were given detailed infórmation by the owners of the camping about the places of interest to visit within the area and there is a great deal of them. The owners speak French, English, Russian and a bit of Spanish, so we understood each other without problems. Our little daughter enjoyed the playground with different swings and it was totally safe to let her explore them. In brief, everything was better than even expected. We have already decided to spend a part of our summer holidays at the same place! Thank you, Anya and Fabien,  for your warm reception! See you in summer!

Just perfect holidays, we'll repeat them for sure!

Lovely little campsite at the foot of the Pyrenees. Stayed here for one night. Beautiful spot and very quiet. There was a small office with a girl who spoke basic English. The washing facilities were unisex and clean. We walked into Lourdes and back again. It took about 30 minutes. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
