+ good location, good staff. lift is available. not far from the train and bus station and also not far from the Santuary. and you can walk around town.

good to stay

Nice view of the beach. But not overly impressed with the crepes. Think they used whole grain or brown flour for their crepes. Not to my taste. I had ham and cheese in mine which was ok. However the Cidre is very yummy by the cup. Overall it's ok but not mind blowing. 

Holiday lunch

I had visited this hotel back in 2014 with my family. I had found the location very useful as it was very close to the church however it wasn't the best of hotels and breakfast wasn't as nice as expected. I did have an amazing view from the window but the rooms weren't clean and hygienic as well as the sheets.

Family Trip to Lourdes

Our double room was upgraded to a triple room upon our arrival without extra charge because of our 4-month old baby. Fantastic staff especially David. Clean rooms and best croissants every morning! Will definitely stay in this hotel again next time we spend holiday at Lourdes.

One of the best hotels in Lourdes

We ate at this hotel on a visit to Lourdes, so my review covers the restaurant only. Food was the very worst for quite some time. The meat in my dish - for every 1cm of fat there was 1mm of meat, and for every 1 gram of meat there was 10 grams of bone. The dish was some sort of bean casserole served in a metal dish - hardly what you could expect on a hotel menu! I ordered a "fruit salad desert" - I got an apple and an orange on a tea plate, and this item alone cost me just €6!
Very poor food at a ridiculously high price

Restaurant - steer clear!

I am reviewing only the Ambassadeur restaurant – my friend and I had dinner there in May 2013.
The menu looked fine, and we were staying at another hotel up the street, so decided to chance it. Normally I don't write negative reviews (you can find plenty of them out there) but I make an exception here in order to steer others away.
I can't fault the welcome, or the drink in the bar, but upstairs, the place was nearly deserted (we soon found out why). The service was fine, too, but what came on the plate was simply not good. My companion had lamb cutlets, and there was precious little meat on them. I had a piece of sole that had a coarse texture and virtually no taste. We both had white asparagus, boiled to within an inch of its life and served with an inoffensive vinaigrette.
With a bottle of fairly decent white and two glasses of Champagne, the bill totaled 73 euros – far more costly than the meal was worth.
In this day and age, people still say, "You can't get a bad meal in France." Oh, yes you can.
