Thoroughly enjoyed a short visit to Carcassonne Guesthouse, 11 Quai Bellevue, run by Patrick from Ireland. 

The restored guesthouse was immaculate, tastefully decorated with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms of a very high standard. 

Ideally situated only a stone’s throw from the centre and La Cité. 

Le petit dèjeuner on the terrace was a lovely start to the day before exploring Carcassonne. 

Well worth a visit.

Fantastic location to get into town or short walk (about 10 minutes) to the castle. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the park and castle was one of the reasons we booked and it didn't disappoint. Patrick is an attentive host, sharing best places to eat (all excellent recommendations) plus tips and help with travel. We definitely intend to be back.

Great location, fantastic host

This guesthouse is definitely up there with the best. Patrick our host was simply amazing and looked after us like we had known him all of our lives. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and in a brilliant location. The breakfasts in the morning, served on a terrace over looking the cite were exceptional, again Patrick worked tirelessly making sure our every need was met. We stayed at the Carcassonne guesthouse for 10 days and enjoyed every minute. We met some wonderful people during our stay and we had a fantastic time. Would certainly visit again, thank you Patrick.

Excellent location near airport bus drop off, 10 minutes walk to Castle,  10 minutes  walk to main town, lovely river walk nearby,  10 minutes walk to magnificent indoor / outdoor swimming complex., very helpful owner, lovely tastefully decorated room with comfortable mattress and pillows with cotton sheets  and nice pieces of antique furniture . Delightful well presented breakfast

Such a convenient  location with high standards

Stayed for 4 nights in a double room and couldn't have been happier with our choice of accommodation.
Patrick is the perfect host, a gentleman who cares and takes great pride in his property.
The location is ideal with a great terrace for breakfast with a fantastic view of the castle.
The room was a great size as was the bathroom and the whole place was spotlessly clean.
Fully deserving of all the good reviews.

Perfect stay at the perfect location

We stayed here for 2 nights after a recommendation by a work colleague. Patrick, the owner was a really nice host and runs a beautiful place. Our room was huge, big comfortable king size bed, lovely large bathroom with walk in rain shower and we even had an additional room with bunk beds so we had plenty of space here. The location is fantastic. Breakfast is served on the terrace that overlooks the old city of Carcassonne and the view is to die for!! Breakfast was prepared and served by Patrick and was pretty good, traditional continental fayre. I would recommend this place if you are staying over in Carcassonne as the location is perfect to reach the old and new towns of Carcassonne. Free parking right outside too!!

Beautiful place to stay.

An amazing terrace view to start and end the day with, very well situated and close to everything, of course an amazing host as well!

The best place to stay to see Carcassonne.

We spent 7 lovely nights at the Guesthouse. Perfect location. Great views from the terrace. Well appointed and presented rooms and nice breakfasts. Patrick is very welcoming and accommodating with an eye for detail. Secure parking for motorbike, tea and coffee making facilities, use of fridge and sitting area all added to the enjoyment. Very well placed for town, Cite and airport shuttle. River walks and swimming centre with indoor and outdoor pools on the doorstep. Highly recommended, hope to visit again!

Perfect stay in Carcassonne

This is a must see place. Steeped in history. But hey just don't take my word for it. We stayed within the city walls, so very beautiful and peaceful at night. I loved wandering around felt like it was all mine, as their wasn't meant tourists around. Tis truly a beautiful city and the people were amazing..

I'm in Love with this city

Great location and friendly host.

The guest house is 5 mins from the shops and 10-15 from the castle. We stayed three nights and would recommend breakfast as the view from the terrace is outstanding.

Our room was very comfortable with a king sized bed and air conditioning, vital for the summer!

Overall a great stay.
