not a lot of choice for hotels in this area, but that doesn't matter as this hotel is very good. its situated just off the main shopping area. it is also by the local river. there is a supermarket and burger restaurant nearby, also several restaurants in the town centre too. the hotels own restaurant has just undergone a facelift and looks great. the food was also good too. breakfast was good, with a Scandinavian flavour. rooms were clean, but i just never understood the "wet room" idea! you have a nice shower with a glass screen around it, but every time you take a shower the whole of the bathroom is swimming in water. so if you forget and leave anything on the floor it gets soaked, even the bath mat! it would not put me off staying again, but a sign might be nice. reception was great, very friendly staff. check-in and out was very efficient.
