Nothing to complain, easy acces with good location, staff were nice.
Breakfast is versatile, parking is made easy and location is good.
Hotel building is quite old but the place and rooms are clean. We enjoyed out stay, i would recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel in Lathi

Pleasant and comfortable stay in Scandic City Lahti for two nights to play competitive golf at the Lahti, Takkula course. The hotel is very much to one's satisfaction as to the location and amenities. The service when booking was swift and professional. The breakfast was just superb and (take note!) starting at cockcrow, 6 am! The only bone to pick is the scarce information available on the hotel home pages for a first-time visitor; like  where exactly is the entrance to the garage and on which level (P1 or P2) are the Scandic dedicated parking lots? Also there are issues relating to the Finnish sauna procedures; like should one take a towel along from the room (and possibly take it back - wet - to the room...) or are there towels in the sauna facility? These items should be made abundantly clear on the home pages for the visitor to get acquainted with in advance! Still, answers to all these questions (and others, as well) were given at the reception counter once one had driven around the block twice trying to find an entrance to the Scandic garage. An mind you; I am a Finn,  able to interpret the local plaques and traffic signs!

You are in the middle of everything in the city of Lahti

Very clean and quiet place in the city center of lahti.

Perfect distance to walk to nearby restaurants. My room was very nice but bathroom was small.

Good location

Lived there with a co-worker. The hotels location makes it very comfortable to reach everything and at mornings and evenings - the taxi cars were always standing outside the hotel.Overall the hotel is really worth the money. Will revisit it again.

Central & Comfortable

I stayed here with my wife in June 2013, visiting friends in Lahti. This is an excellent centrally located hotel. Complimentary Buffet Breakfast is included and has typical ample Scandinavian choices. Would recommend this modern hotel for both leisure and business. Staff all spoke excellent English and went about their business very efficiently and courtiously. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Centrally Located Hotel

This centrally located hotel had an offer of 50% off from the point nights. So one night was only 10.000 points.

Our room was ready on arrival at 11:45. We were upgraded to a Superior room because my partner is a Scandic TOP Level member.

Every room is quite the same size at this hotel but Superior rooms have bathrobes and are located on the top floor. However, the views are not so special from any floor.

The only problem at this hotel is the outdated decor. Otherwise, our room was quite practical.

The breakfast was above the standard Scandic breakfast. It was pleasantly calm and the buffet was well looked after.

The staff was friendly.

Pleasant stay

I liked former Scandic Lahti and usually visited there. Now, more and more I like this City one because its location. Parkinghall is large and very easy to use (march 2022 10 euros / 24 h). Of course breakfast is delicious and I prefer that there is old format newspapers available.

Scandic Lahti City - in the middle of everything in Lahti

This hotel is located right in the middle of the city. Although the house is quite old, the hotel is nice ja rooms are ok. Breakfast is good and it is included to the daily price. Short distance to everywhere in the city of Lahti. You manage by foot.
