Was promised a refund. It was a lot of money for me. Now the owner Henry is not responding to any messages. He was very friendly at the start and said multiple times he would refund the money. I'm just a small business owner from New Zealand and this  was going to be the trip of a lifetime. Our business got affected by Corona but we made sure we did the right thing by our customers. I still hope he will do the right thing and really disappointed people would act this way.

Nice hostel. Flexible and helpful staff ! Enjoyed my stay and it’s good value. Overall thank you. Reasonable pricing although surfing in Fiji it’s is expensive - and not the resorts fault but the guys on the boat throw the boards around.  I will go back.  Food ordinary.

Fun stay

I’ve been contacting them for 2 months now attempting to get a refund for the deposit I placed. Obviously nobody expected COVID to happen but it has caused financial strain on all of us and they won’t return my $800 deposit even though it’s been a government mandate that we don’t travel. I’ve contracted the then 12+ and barely get a response with no help at all. Add in the APR on the credit card and they are costing me more with every month they ignore me.

Won’t refund me my money

I stayed for four nights as a beginner surfer and had a blast. It was totally fine to come alone, as there are several solo travellers and everyone talks to everyone. Very friendly staff that mingles with the guests and make you feel like you are one of them. Also, they are very helpful. Great vibe with lots of dedicated surfers in the morning, dedication to relaxation during the day and a nice group-hang-out with beer and music during the night. I am a beginner surfer and had a very helpful surflesson with the friendly host himself. Got my longest ride ever and enjoyed the surfing. Surfing for all levels is possible and supported here. I would come back every year with a group of friends if it was not so very far from my home.

Great time

I loved this place! Staff is realy friendly and helpful. Pete picked me up at the airport and took me to buy some food at the local market before going to the camp and he showed me the best places to buy food and other stuff. 
Naina and Sosi are really nice ladies as well, they'll make you feel really comfortable in the place. They cook snacks every afternoon (delicious ones) and they are also aware of people requirements for food, as dinner is not elegible (you have the menu of the night). But you can have a vegan option if you want.
I loved the fact that all the people in the camp had dinner together at the same time and that makes it easier for everybody to know each other and make friends. I made a lot!
Boat drivers are really experienced, they know the area perfectly and help you when you have any trouble (I lost my board in Cloudbreak and Mike drove me all the way around the reef to pick it up, thanks dude!).
The only detail I didn't really liked is that the Internet is really slow, but you can grab a book and go to the hammocks or by the pool and enjoy life without being connected, or chat with the other visitors.

Like home!

I stayed for 8 nights in August and had the best time. The crew are friendly and great. The food is delicious and the proximity to the waves and the airport is perfect. I would recommend the packages, which I overlooked. The big table group dinners are great for reminiscing on the day's sessions too.

Surf house stoke

We went over as a group of mainly surfers and a couple of non-surfers for 16 days. We had the best time and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. The most amazing, friendly place you could stay. The staff were the best and make you feel so welcome and helped out with anything we needed. The people we met (other guests) were so much fun and we made some great friends, it was sad to leave! The food was outstanding and so much variety every night thanks to Max :) also the lunches and drinks available were great. I'm not a surfer but went out to watch the surf a couple of times which was amazing to see, cheering on everyone from the camp and seeing them catch some awesome waves was incredible, then I would go out for a snorkel whilst they were out surfing. The facilities were good for us, pool was great to sit by and get a tan, then being able to cool off. There is a bus that runs most days to Nadi and back, but Taxis are also available if you organise this with the  lovely girls at reception. We were very lucky and arrived when there was a great swell which had everyone out surfing everyday we were there, the boat drivers were great making sure everyone got out. We also headed to Cloud 9 for one arvo which was a cool experience. Thank you so much for having us Rendezvous, see you again next time!!

Amazing experience

As we stepped into Rendezvous, we instantly felt at home. We originally planned to stay a few nights and ended up instead staying 6 weeks, to give one an idea of how much we enjoyed our stay. The friendly, wonderful team of employees became like family. Henry, the owner, made sure everyone, including his staff, was happy and well taken care of. True Fijian hospitality. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, very relaxed and peaceful... many delightful post-surf naps were taken in the gentle sway of the hammocks under the shade of the palms. They offer plenty of entertainment too... SURFING world-class waves that are likely to blow your mind, snorkeling pristine reefs with a colourful abundance of coral and fish, island hoping, fishing trips, swimming pool, valley ball, pool and ping pong tables, board games and kava sessions. We loved meeting interesting, like-minded people from around the world, sharing surf stories and laughs over happy hour drinks. The food was delicious and they gladly accommodated our vegetarian diet. The facilities were cleaned regularly. The boat captains were knowledgable and helped us planned where to surf, depending on swell, winds and tides. The waves are absolutely AMAZING and we had some of the best surf sessions of our lives. It was hard to leave...we arrived as guests and left as family, our hearts more full and our lives more enriched. We cherished our time at Rendezvous so much - it was truly such an unforgettable, amazing experience and we are already dreaming of our next visit :) I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience something similar.

Our favourite place to stay in Fiji!!!

I am not a surfer and stumbled into this loving space. Both staff and fellow residents alike included me on their activities. Their meals are delicious. It is easy for them to schedule you a taxi or driver for multiple destinations since it is 20 mins away from most everything - better boat pier because of it. There is a very cheap local bus coming every few hours too. Think about staying a few extra days longer than you expect because of fiji-time!

Real family feel

Friendly staff, clean rooms, huge garden, nice spot for sunsets, wide range of boats for going to Surf or fishing and visiting nearby islands. Restourant/bar opened all day. 
Already been there many times and recommended to friends, which after visiting really appreciated people, place and services.
Well connected to town by bus twice a day.
Thanks to the location and the management during recent years it becomes one of the meeting points of west coast - Viti Levu - Fiji.
