What an amazing group of people. Really good views. Room has ac and nice beds.  Wonderful breakfast served by the owner. You can have a ride to the airport if needed. Very well located if you want to be close to the village but not in the middle

Amazing stay with Khaled and Mostafa

I stayed at Ekadolli Nubian Guesthouse for a couple of days at the end of December.  From the time I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed by Khaled and the team.

Before arriving, I liaised with Khaled and he arranged my tour to Abu Simbel.

The Guesthouse is away from Aswan city but Khaled drove me to wherever I needed or arranged a taxi when I needed to meet for the Abu Simbel tour.  The area is quieter than staying in the city and offers a great cultural experience.  

I really enjoyed my stay here, and I highly recommend it.

Many tourists come over to the village to visit the market, but I think staying here offered a truer, more authentic experience.  I enjoyed speaking to Khaled about Nubian culture and history.

Breakfast was included and they even supplied me with a packed breakfast to take with me when I had to leave in the early morning for my tour.

The food is lovely and plentiful.

Thank you Khaled and the team for making me file like part of the family.

A very welcoming stay

We ended up at this hotel on the last minute because we missed our planned cruise from Aswan to Luxor.  The hotel was a delightful surprise so we ended up staying 3 nights.  The price was great and included an Egyptian breakfast with eggs, cheese, foul (beans) and bread.  The rooms are large but basic.  The village is very quiet and conservative but has a nearby tourist area with shops.  Aswan is across the river by boat or a 15 minute taxi ride.  Mohammed was a great host. He arranged a trip to Abu Sembel for us as well as local transportation and recommendations.  A nice place to chill out away from the tourist bustle of Aswan.

One of the guesthouses that makes you feel like you’re at home, has tasty food, and staff is very friendly. Perfect location as it is very close to the Nubian market. And cars to take you to Aswan airport is offered.

Great visited Jan 2018 

Located at the heart of Gharb Sehel Island. Surrounded by the locals small houses. Close to shops and bazars for souvenirs. Very delicious food is served. Staff are very polite and welcoming. Beverages can be served with extra charges. Rooms are clean but need little improvements for more convenience, but that wasn't a problem for me. The view from the roof is excellent. Cant wait to go back there again !!

Great vibes all over the place , very kind and sweet people... felt like sleeping over at my family's house, breakfast was great. simplicity in everything 💜 stayed up at the roof most of the night reading a novel and it was such a peaceful mood 😊 wifi was available too. I felt safe, no need to lock the doors or anything.

Amazing crew

Staying at Ekadolli Nubian was one of the highlights of our Aswan trip. We had a memorable experience at the guesthouse and will always remember Mr Khaled’s hospitality. 

First off, the guesthouse is quite far away from the main city of Aswan so it’s perfect if you’re looking for some peace and quiet. Mr Khaled, the owner and manager is always happy to offer you a ride to the city in his car so that’s not a problem. We were a little worried about transport but he took us to the city. There’s also local transport available which is much cheaper than taxi. 

Our room was large and well furnished with clean bathrooms. The view from the rooftop is incredible and overlooks the Nile and the city. The food is homemade by the cooks who do a good job of serving you local cuisine - our meals were delicious although a tad expensive. But everything was fresh. The staff are extremely polite and well behaved. Mr Khaled is always there on the roof and we found him a friendly and generous host. He arranged the trip to Abu Simbel for us and it was very reasonable price. 

Overall staying at the Nubian guesthouse was a very happy experience and I would recommend it to all. Enjoy the hospitality and good food on offer at a budget!

Felt like a second home

This place are very nice, and all the staff so helpful and friendly. 
It is in a quiet little village, by the Nile. And the food will make you eat a bit too much.
What ever you will like to do or see when you are there, they will arrange for you, and drive you to the places you want.
