This was a very simple and comfortable stay.  I was only here for a night, but I thought that the hostal was a great value.  The room was basic but nice, and I liked the little touches like the branded towels.  Great wifi, a comfortable night's sleep, good AC and hot water, and those are the important things at this price point.  The owner also gave some helpful advice.

I would stay here again.

I still can remember the breakfast we had while staying in this hostel. Subtly different every day, it was a great starter for what you could do just by walking a little bit.
Really near to the Darwin Research Station and Puerto Ayora's pier, you have the chance to program morning trips to different locations inside or near the city.
It is really quiet at night, but it's still close to many of the bars and restaurants.
Everything was clean, and the staff was really kind, without any problem to help when needed.

We spent eight nights here and had a great experience. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit and granola, followed by a freshly cooked dish which was different every day. We had the room right at the top which was spacious and bright with a lovely view. The building was really interesting and the garden was very pretty with hammocks to hang out in. On one of the days we hired the tandem bike available there and cycled into town which was hilarious! A short walk from the nearest restaurants and shops as well as Playa de la Estacion, the nearest beach.

Quirky building in a residential area around 15 min walk from the main part of town with the bars and restaurants. Rooms are basic compared to a hotel but really good value for the islands, especially considering the great breakfast

This is a quaint little place on the edge of town. It is very close to the Charles Darwin research Center, but I found it a little far from the centre of the town. It was a little too far to walk alone at night. The host was super friendly and accommodating, with my limited English and their limited Spanish, we managed. Breakfast was great. Lots of hammocks. The beds were comfy and the rooms were cleaned everyday. 

If you book tours with their affiliated company you also get some small discounts (e.g you don’t have to pay for a wetsuit when snorkelling) 

The only downside I really had was that it was TOO quiet. There was only one other couple staying there at the time, so I didn’t get to meet other travellers like I was hoping.

Rooms were clean, comfortable and air conditioned. Court yard was cool and relaxing. Quiet yet only 4 blocks from Darwin and all the shops. Breakfast was between 7-8 and was cereal, fruit and a different warm entire daily. Staff very accommodating but limited English. Showers were hot but water pressure low. Overall would definitely stay here again.
