My Family and I went to Curacao for the first time and we had the time of our life. Our hotel manager Alan was a great host. He and the staff did all they could to make sure we well taken care off. The rooms were well kept, the swimming pool was cleaned daily and the breakfast bar was refreshed. 

If you are looking for a place to relax and have some quite time then look no further than the Apartamentu Holanda, where the place is quite and relaxing.

Time of my Life

Ok location close to the airport and the rooms and Wifi are good. Didn't try the pool. Owner, Allan, nice guy and is very helpful with getting you around the island and to the airport. Would definitely go back.

Friendly service

We stayed at a one room apartment facing the swimming pool. All you need is there, two queen size beds, equipped kitchen, tv, table and two chairs, separate bathroom and a terras with chairs, table and lounge-bed. Central location, close to supermarket (5 min. walking) in residential area. Need a car to get around the island. We stayed two weeks and we found it value for money.

Basic and clean appartment

Apartamentu Holanda offers clean, simple and cozy room. My expierence there was simple. I stayed in a Studio that was furnished with a queen size bed, one bed side table with a lamp and a desk. In the same room also includes a fridge,  water cooker and microwave.  

The bathroom was clean and had only towels and a hand soap. 

The room is cozy because of the air conditioner and comfotable bed and sheets.  Plus it is located 5 mins away from a grocery store which I enjoyed shopping at. 

If you are travelling to Curacao and will not be in the room all day then this is your best choice. 

Some disadvantages are no kitchen utilities, the TV channels are limited and they are not viewing clearly, no closet to hang clothes (only a open space with a rack and desk draws) and no bathroom amenities. 

Besides this, I hardly stayed indoors so I considered my stay reasonable. I do however think that there should more TV channels.

Simple and inexpensive rooms

Clean basic small apartments. The very nice owners offer pickup service from the airport, and this is necessary because otherwise you will have difficulty locating it. It lies in a quiet side street and  very central on the island. Ideal if you want to explore the island.Their pool was clean and large enough for a bit if a morning swim.

The rooms offer fridge, Microwave and kettle. It could do with some equipment like plates etc to really allow for use of the microwave.

However, I checked out after three nights, because I was bothered by a number of dogs barking at night - other than that it was a very quiet neighbourhood. No difficulty getting a refund.

It is about 15 minutes to the closest beach, but it is not the right hotel if you are planning a beach holiday. Ideal though if you plan on diving all around the island.

Nice central basic apartments in Curaçao

There is no swimming pool in the first place. The rooms cannot be locked properly. To give a “sense of safety” the gate is closed from 6 pm- 6 am.
The host is not a host as I would expect - hostile and screaming.
The kitchen area is a small fridge and a tiny microwave.
Location is appr. 9 km from center of Philipsburg. Public transportation is hard to find, unless you are willing to cross a highway with speeding cars.
