Guest house flores is located in the heart of the old city of Dubrovnik within the city walls in a great location. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in July 2018. The apartment was huge and it was very nice and clean-provide clean linens, etc daily. Since its an actual apartment building, there is no front desk. Alan arranged to meet us since we arrived late in the evening. Despite being on a loud, busy street there were excellent soundproof windows. We enjoyed staying within the old city walls, although one drawback is that cars cannot enter the old city so you have to be able to carry your bags after being dropped off at one of the city wall gates (about a 5 minute walk). Would stay here again.

great location, clean, good stay

Central location and can walk to all tourist attractions. Very clean and good covid measures . Feel safe during my stay . Room is a bit small and was on 1/F and you will need to carry luggage yourself . Sandra offered us beach towels which was very handy ! Overall a lovely stay

Great accommodation

The location is great, it is in the old town, Just by strandun. The room is clean, comfortable bed.  It is cleaned daily, the only issue was that the private bathroom is outside the room, which was a bit of hassle. It is not shared, still private, and you have a key to lock it, but it is in a common lobby shared with another room. 
But apart from the bathroom, everything else was convinient and comfortable.

Good location, clean room

First about Parking in dubrovnik, anywhere near the old town the parking costs 40kune per hour or minimum 600 per day. We certainly didnt want to pay that amount of money on parking, so when we arrived and found out about the parking cost, we called the lady for help. She told us to park for one hour first, so we could check in and drop our luggages, then her staff could tell us where cheaper to park. 

That was exactly what we did. We parked in the public parking just outside the old city for one hour. When we arrived at the Aptmt (after going down many steps ), a nice young man showed us the aptmt, explained where and what to do, and then told us we could park at a garage at Hotel Argentina for 120kune daily rate. That was so helpful and saved us a lot of money on parking alone. However, just be prepared to walk about ten minutes from garage to town and back to retrieve car, but there is a best view of old town on the way. 
Aptmt itself is perfectly located, right on the main square, easy access to everywhere. Aptmt is big clean with a well equipped kitchen. Shower is very powerful. 
Only problem is the noise at night where there is loud music and people coming and going, but this is no fault of the Aptmt.

Just outside the Aptmt, there is a nice little restaurant. Try their fried small fish! 

Best Location and accommodation

We had a two bedroom/one bath apartment. Very clean and well organized. Nice furnitures. Kitchen had everything you need. There was a washing machine. Air conditioning worked well so we were able to close the windows to avoid the noise coming from the street. Good location to explore the old town of Dubrovnik. Cleaning lady and the rep were all very kind and nice people.

Amazing location

Stayed five nights at Quest House Flores, read the reviews of fellow travellers and watched fancy photos at booking.com before booking the  room which was supposed to be "fabulous", "spacious"," perfect". The room we got wasn't all of that but expensive, noisy,smelly and the tiniest of tiny it was. The problem with these reviews is that at GHF there are several kinds of rooms and you can't know what to get. Well, the location was good, in the heart of Old Town BUT the noise from Stradun (the main street) kept you awake all night. First the music and people and from 5a.m the rattle of pulling rubbish containers along the street. The room was nicely furnished, clean and the bed comfy BUT it was the smallest one I have ever stayed in when travelling. The bathroom was clean and modern BUT the smell from sewage system was hideous. The owner was helpful and kind,yes, the short moment we saw her BUT I suppose it's the basic requirement. I'm merely disappointed at the fact that my expectations didn't meet with the reality. This room is OK if you stay one or two nights but for a longer stay I wouldn't recommend it.

Mixed feelings

In February 2019 we booked 5 nights direct on-line for September. We received a booking No and confirmation email from Flores. Upon enquiring 6 months later about an airport transfer we were advised that our booking would not be honoured, and instead were offered 4 nights at more than double the initially agreed price.
Needless to say we have booked elsewhere ... be very aware!
