Access to great beaches and very nice accommodations for a reasonable price.  The hot tub could have been a little more modern and hotter.  Pool features are just okay - still its one of my top 5 hotels in the nearby area (given the price).

This place was amazing a few years ago. The rooms over looked the ocean, they had an infinity pool, like 300m up on a cliff over looking the ocean just right for sunsets with drinks. The beach was very quiet and nice, few people there. The only thing was walking up the cliff to get to your room.  You also had breakfast on a huge terrace at the edge of the cliff while iguanas and tropical birds awaited you to get up so they could steal your fruit. 

I think its closed for renovations!

We recently tried to book a few nights at the Ocotal Beach Resort, we picked our dates to stay and the booking agency said those dates are not avilible. 
Today well eating at Father Roosters that is next door to Ocotal Beach Resort, we walked over to see the beach rooms (we stayed here in 2008 and loved it).
Much to our surprise, the lower building is empty and the swimming pool is empty, see attached photos & security gaurds not letting nobody in.

Ocotal Beach Resort is Closed

Ocotal Beach Resort is a perfect hotel for couples or a honeymoon, I been there for relax and the views from the romos are just perfect. Next time I I´ll visit with my girlfriend, the place is amazing and the staff very nice.

Great place to stay and dinner the view is super nice I recommend the rooms up on the hill with ocean view. the Place is just perfect to relax and sit down for weekend at night coco beach offer a lot to do.
