55 reviewsWe loved staying at Casas Pelicano so much that we were sad to leave. Words cannot describe the pleasure of waking up to the gorgeous surroundings and peaceful sounds of ocean waves. The property is beautifully landscaped with tropical vegetation, providing habitat for local fauna and privacy. The ocean is a few steps from the terrace, and we loved taking walks along the beach every day. We booked this location because we wanted to stay at an oceanfront property that was quiet and away from touristy towns with large crowds. We also chartered a fishing trip at Tamarindo, and wanted to be able to cook our fish in a fully stocked kitchen. We swam in the pool in the mornings and afternoons. There are so many great things to write about Casas Pelicano - but the best thing is that our host, Sybil, is a wonderful person! We were fortunate to be able to spend time with her and her sweet dogs, and share life stories. She is the reason that we will definitely go back to stay at Casas Pelicano!
