Quetzal Valley Cabins

We spent 3 nights in Cabin 1. The view overlooking the valley was spectacular. It is peaceful and quiet with only the sounds of birds. Jairo and Nelson were very helpful and responded to any request or questions we had promptly. We also had communication from Peter prior and during our stay. The units are rustic as described, however, its clean and well equipped for those who wish to cook and enjoy a comfortable stay. We had issues with hot water a couple of times, which was quickly resolved. The cabins are scattered a short distance away from each other. We did not see Quetzels on the property during our walks, but Jairo arranged a tour and we saw 5 Quetzels which were just magical. We walked up the hill to Miriams Restaurant for breakfast and spent a few hours in the mornings enjoying the hummingbirds and other species at the feeders. Well worth a visit. We would definitely stay at Quetzel Valley Cabins again when visiting the area.
