My wife and I happened upon Casa Carolina while on a cycling holiday from Medillin to Bogota. We were staying with our group in a nearby location, but arranged with the cordial owner owner Felipe to have dinner. Drinks were served in a wonderful sitting room off the centre courtyard. Felipe took the time to recount the history of the house and a little local history. We had a fine curry and a lentil dish for vegetarians in the mix, preceded by soup and a delicious "postre". Should we be fortunate enough to return to Salamina one day we will certainly look to book one of the nice looking rooms.
