Wuxi Juna Hubin Hotel

We stayed at the Juna Hubin hotel in January 2024 as part of a family wedding celebration. We appeared to be the only non Chinese guests at the time. The staff was extremely friendly and if they didn't speak English, they quickly found someone who did or found the word on their phone through a translator app (thanks for the ice, girls in the lounge on the 9th floor!). Our room was on the 10th floor in the older section, overlooking part of Taihu lake. It was very spacious, with a sitting area , walk in closet, refrigerator, electric kettle, glassware and bottled water. The breakfast buffet is huge, with traditional western breakfast foods, like eggs and bacon, and chinese food too, like noodles, soup and congee. There were also foods like baked sole, tiny ribs, fried onion rings, baked beans and pastries. All the food was delicious. There were no problems with the temperature in our room as stated in other reviews, but it did stay quite warm in a relative's room. The hotel was decorated for Chinese New Year and was quite festive. The hotel also has a small garden by the lake for guests to stroll in for free. There were many lovely examples of Taihu rocks or scholar's stones along the walk. The weather was too bad to visit the Liyuan Gardens next door. We could see some of Liyuan from our room, and hope we can visit it one day. All in all, we had a great experience at the Juna Hubin Hotel.
