Charming Heart Inn

Well located in the old town of Lijiang (10min walk from the main square, so not in the noisy part). Hotel and rooms are really typical and well decorated. Room, bathroom and bath are really big ! I never saw a so huge bath !! Everything is really clean. The bed is super comfortable, you have an electric blanket and an heather in the room that makes your stay really enjoyable ! The inside court is as well really relaxing ! The wifi connection is pretty good. And finally the host is just AMAZING ! Super friendly and helpful, he is speaking good english, will help you in everything. Map and tips for Lijiang (all scenics spots and transport to go there - bus/taxi/price), pickup outside of the old town to show you the way to the hotel, and he will also help you for other trips you want to do around (tiger leaping gorge, lugu lake, etc) and will arrange transport for you! He helped me to book the minivan back and forth to lugu lake, helped me to check my hotel there, woke up before 6am to walk with me until the meeting point with the driver. I was staying 2 nights in Lugu and so the host still kept contact with me during these 2 days and contacted from Lijiang my driver in lugu lack for my way back to Lijiang to make sure everything was under control as I'm speaking chinese ! He talked to me until I was in the car back !! Just so nice !! On top of this the first day when I arrived to the hotel, after the trekking in Tiger leaping gorge, I got some sunburn and so for my sightseeing day in Lijiang they gave me a suncream as it was sunny !!! Some attention that you can't find in a lot of place !! I'm so thankful for all they did :-)
