Our room was booked by a Chinese friend, but since this location accepted foreigners it met very good standards. Beware of hard bed if that's a problem. Is was very comfortable, but I don't think my body knew it was supposed to sleep on this traditional Chinese bed. Excellent front-desk, great location, and a pleasant lower price than name-brand international hotels. We teach and live in China so our earning of RMB makes a place like this perfect for short getaways. And the food in Hunan is spicy! Be sure to try pig's feet-not a lot of meat, but interesting story to tell people.
