We spent 3 nights at the lodge last week with our family and friends (11 people in total).  Our rooms were on the second and third floors, all rooms had a 3 piece bathroom (bathtub, sink and toilet) and all the linen and towels were included.  The rooms were very clean.  Currently there is no food served at the lodge's restaurant, so we had to bring our own food, there are fridges thought the building to store your food.  The lodge offers BBQs under a covered patio where you can prepare your food and there are table and chairs to eat as well.  There is access to water, to a small but cozy beach, and access to non-motorized equipment such as a canoe, kayak or a paddle boat.  We also had access to a fire pit where we had the greatest bonfire ever.

I would like to thank the owner, Malgosia, for her hospitality and for her being an instant friend to our entire group, we will definitely be back next year.
I do recommend this place to anyone who is interested in exploring the area; Val-David, Mont-Tremblant or just sitting by the water in enjoying the view.

Family oriented and very pleasant

A brief update to my August 2017 review. This is our 12th annual visit, and have seen consistent improvements in the amenities and upkeep of this 1940s style ski lodge, while still preserving it’s rustic charm.
Though  it has Wi-Fi and our room had a flatscreen TV, the TV never get got turned on and we spent all our spare time reading books and swimming in this amazing lake that is a swimmers paradise as gas motors are outlawed. 
Home cooked meals with a Polish twist were very good and very filling! Still lots of water sport activities possible at no charge, so for us the main attraction was swimming in the pristine lake.
Finally, coming up on a weekday enabled us to soak in the peace and quiet and the beautiful changing of the sky with the weather

for more details see my [GaryB13] reviews in Summer 2012 and 2011...condition of property steadily improving, but meals, setitngs, hospitality of the hosts are stil ltop notch--and prices unchanged since 2011, which makes it a great value for a modest, rustic lodge. We'll keep going back each  year!!

Note it is ‘rustic’ and not fancy—no Jacuzzis, video games, etc…but setting [on lake, with super home cooked meals [full course breakfast  and suppers]  tons of water sports possible: swam in lake which bars gas motor boats; has kayaks, canoes, paddle boats & Hobbie Cat Sailboat for use –for free]!

Update to pas annual reviews

For our group of seven old friends this was a delightful place for our x-c ski week. We enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners on the days we ate in and also welcomed the chance to prep our own meals and explore local eateries. You will not go hungry here! We are already talking about a return trip.

This is a quirky, fun old lodge with a great host

I liked the place and the owners seemed very nice and that made be very patient with their extreme state of disorganization. But I lost all sympathy for them as they started money grubbing when it came time to pay.  When I received the bill I was shocked to see how they over charged us by around one hundred dollars. Be very careful and make sure that you've come to a clear understanding of all the charges and "hidden" fees . They will try to sneak in extra fees.

Carefull! They cheat you on the bill!

The place is perfect for two or fifty.  It's super close to Montreal, has clean rooms, offers paddle boats, ping pong, dinner and breakfast.  The food is incredible as well!  The top floor of the main building or the little house on the water are best!


Wonderful hosts, delicious food

We stayed one night here. It was very rustic, but if you are comfortable with that you get a lot-a wonderful host, a nice room, access to the lake. Our room had its own bathroom. The owners are in the process of updating the lodge, but it's just fine as it is now. The owner is polish and her family live there and they were all nice and respectful. They offer breakfast for $8-$10 ( I forget exactly) we declined but they had a lovely dining room. They had a fridge that guests could use which was handy, she even said we could use their fire pit to cook if we wanted. Wifi was included as well. A great place, we would stay there again and it should be even better as they do some updating.
