We were able to make reservations at the last minute when plans at another B&B fell through.  Charlene, General Manager, was more than accommodating.  We stayed in Eagles Nest on 3rd floor for first night and upgraded to B. Harmon room for the 2nd and 3rd nights, for a larger room.  B Harmon room was on the 2nd floor and had a King bed and Jacuzzi.  

They had a lovely community room on the 3rd floor with fridge and cozy chairs overlooking the Bay of Fundy.  We were able to spend a lot of time here relaxing.  Charlene was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything and were comfortable, so nice to chat with.  

Breakfast was served each morning with large croissants, wonderful tasty toast with all the fixings and yogurt, juices and coffee and tea.  I loved being able to walk out the door to take a walk on the Bay of Fundy at low tide.  I would recommend staying here.  Thank you Charlene :-)

Great overnite stay, the owners work there everyday, such great hosts. Wonderful rooms and onsite restaurant which is rare for b&b .  Fioris restaurant has excellent food and very nice menu choices. Amazing vies of bay of fundy. Economical also.

Great spot to stay St.Martins

There was not a lot of personalized service and we could hear people walking around on the floor above us at night (we were on the second floor) which kept us awake for a while. It was tidy and basic, but also a very small room. There was no closet—just a little rack with a few hangers on it. The breakfast, however, was exceptional. I would dine here, but maybe stay elsewhere next time.

Tidy, but not quiet

We recently stayed in the Harmon Room at Salmon River B&B, and enjoyed the accommodations, dinner in the restaurant and breakfast.  The hosts, Mike and Barb, were hard at work as the B&B was fully booked.  
The room was clean and comfortable with a private bath and king-size bed.  The B&B also has a common sitting room on the third floor with great views of the Bay of Fundy.
We rarely stay at B&B's (preferring small family owned motels), but enjoyed this visit as the hosts were not at all intrusive.  
An excellent breakfast (included) was served in the dining room on the first floor.  We also enjoyed a delicious, reasonably-priced dinner in the restaurant (Fiori's) the evening we arrived. 
Location is great, and within walking distance to the Sea Caves in St. Martins.  The nearby Fundy Trail parkway was spectacular.

Very Comfortable accommodations in St. Martins

Our hosts, Mike and Barb, are friendly, engaging and accommodating. They generously changed our room assignment to the first floor after an unexpected hiking injury. The rooms themselves are quite cozy and the beds are comfortable. There's  a great view of the Bay of Fundy from the Bay Watch Room and from the balcony at the end of the third floor sitting room. 

The B&B is quite close to the Fundy Trail Parkway, a scenic drive.

Wonderful place to stay

We really enjoyed the area, the food was really good, breakfast was great rooms were nice and clean, owners were very welcoming and helpful.  Short walk to the back of the property to experience the tides in the bay of Fundy and close to the caves...great experience

Cozy place

My room at the top was sweltering hot. The woman who showed me the room said she was turning on the “air conditioner” by moving the thermostat dial on the wall. There is no AC - this woman had a cruel joke at my expense. I was then told the restaurant had closed due to “high occupancy”, but when I went downstairs only one couple was dining. 

The handle on the shower only went half way to the H, so I had a cold shower. The ceiling above my bed was slanted, so if you accidentally sat up in bed you would slam your head. There is an extremely noisy kitchen fan below the room’s window, but luckily it doesn’t stay on all night. 

There is no refrigerator in your room and no offer to keep cold drinks anywhere in the BnB. No hosts ever introduced themselves to ask about my stay. If they had, I would have gladly told them of my issues. One of the answers on Trip Advisor says that coffee was available at 0700. I never saw this coffee and it was not offered to me. 

Breakfast is from 0800-0900 only. I came in at 0807 and I got the last table. The breakfast was good, but since I came last it took awhile to get my order. 

I’ve stayed in numerous BnBs in Canada and almost always enjoy my stay and love the hosts. Not this time- I couldn’t wait to leave!

Can’t remember a worse BnB experience

We were able to book the 2 rooms on the first floor. The rooms were average size and each had their own bathrooms with showers. The showers were small but thankful to have our own. 
There was a crows nest type room on the 3 rd floor and outdoor deck where you can see the Bay of Fundy and watch the tide come in/ out (Bay of Fundy has highest tidal changes in the world)
Fiori’s Restaurant is attached to the B&B and you could get any breakfast item with coffee/ tea from the menu and it was included in your nightly rate at the B&B. Breakfast was really good too. 
The owners Mike and Barb are from the USA. They are a really sweet couple and Mike is the cook in the restaurant. He also let us park close due to my husband having difficulty walking and raining out.
The B&B is only a minute drive from the harbor and covered bridges and 2 min drive to the sea cave

First time at a B&B

Salmon River B&B is a bit different than other B&B’s. We arrived about 3:00 pm and were met with a locked door. There is a sign with a phone to call which I did. Barb answered and walked from across the street and checked us in.

The room was on the small side, however, it was very clean and inviting. The bed was the most comfortable of all the beds in our almost three week journey.

The very nice and large common room made up for the small size of our room.

The real value is it’s location, which is only a few kilometers from the spectacular Fundy Trail Parkway. In behind the B&B it is a short walk to the Bay of Funday. 

Great location

Mike & Barb, the owners of Salmon River B&B made us feel welcomed, comfortable, happy and filled our bellies with delicious breakfast foods before continuing on our journey! If you’re going through St Martin’s, this place is not to be missed! Our room was so cozy and clean and included a TV with multiple channels. The personalized touches were extremely appreciated. Just a 15 minute walk from the sea caves and just out back the B&B you can stroll alongside the beach, which is a great spot to watch the sun set! Thank you Mike, for sharing your story with us!
