Beautiful hotel situated on a quiet street, close-ish to downtown, and right beside city park. We stayed in room 307 which was one of the featured suites. It is a nice, large room with lots of light and seating in both rooms. I was a bit disappointed because the blinds were broken at the right of the bed, so they remained closed the entire time. The bathroom is narrow and has a basic tub (but has character nonetheless.) Everything was very clean and well appointed though. I love how they have kept the original charm here and not modernized it. I couldn’t help but wonder what the other rooms were like as every one is different and unique... I’ll have to see for myself in the future I guess! Owners/staff were absolutely wonderful and had no problem accommodating our 3 year old son. Breakfast was more than we anticipated and made the morning! It was promptly delivered to our room after making a phone call to the front desk. I did not feel the least bit nervous regarding Covid, because they had all the right procedures in place (and I don’t believe they have a ton of guests coming through either because it seems they have removed themselves from the main search engines?) Anyways, I was very happy that I found this place- what a gem!
