We were on a group tour and our tour leader said this was a great place to have a late night snack & some drinks with an incredible view and he was right. 

This bar & restaurant has an incredible view over the Mekong. The service was really good and quick. The staff was very friendly and a ton of fun! The drinks where cold and refreshing. They had good snacks and they played great music.  There was a nice breeze off the Mekong. 

Wish we would have had time to come back during the day to enjoy the view!!

On first impressions, there was an awful smell walking up the stairs. We arrived to this hostel early in the morning, about 8am and no one was there which we didn’t mind and decided to sit and wait. We found seats but the place was filthy dirty and the smell followed us to the main area. I understand that the hostel is also a bar but it should have been cleaned by that time of the morning. There were spilled drinks, empty cup and paper towel everywhere. The floor was sticky and the table tops we untouchable. We cancelled the booking and stayed elsewhere before anyone showed up to check us in. 

Terrible first impression 

The girls dorm is right behind the bar so at first I was a little apprehensive. But we ended up have the 12 person female dorm all go ourselves for the 1 night we were staying there! My friend and I ended up having the best sleep of our entire trip here! Staff were nice.

it's amazing view ever on hte terrace. actually it's a bar though. lots of locals come at night to drink and enjoy. it can be noisy but I didnt mind it.

Excellent Location in Phnom Penh 
Love the location, friendly staff comfortable bed and reasonable price, Just inform about no hot water in shower room and no toilet role as well.

Solo Travel 

When on the bus from Siem Reap to Phnom Pen, I decided to book into the Panorama Mekong Hostel as it was close to where the bus was dropping me off.

A little hard to find - I had an argument with a Tuk Tuk driver as he dropped me off in the wrong place and I refused to pay him - up about four sets of stairs to the top floor and I got there!

I was initially sceptical as the music is loud and the hostel is right next to the bar but the music stopped about 12:30 and that was fine by me.

Bed was very comfortable and the privacy curtain provided very good privacy. The lockers are underneath the bunk and they have iron doors so very safe with valuables. Air conditioning in the room was perfect!

Showers are clean and work well. I like the fact they provide a curtain over the rail where you hang your stuff to stop it getting wet!

Beer is $1 for a draught Tiger (about half a pint) so very good. Breakfast was $3 so expensive but overall I’m very pleased with my stay and booked an extra night.

Two Nights

Whole place is dirty; the dorms, bar and toilets. In the morning all the surfaces in the bar are still sticky and dirty from the night before. Every time I’ve gone to the toilet I have actually felt sick by the stench.

I felt even dirtier after I’d showered because of the smell and filthiness of the bathrooms. Never any toilet roll or soap.

This is the weirdest hostel I’ve ever stayed in, it’s literally in a bar. Our dorm had class doors and we constantly had local people drinking at the bar staring in at us. There’s also no lock on the door, if I hadn’t been travelling with my friend I would have felt unsafe. 

The beds are pretty comfy and the bed it’s self is nice and private, and the staff are friendly. I just feel this place is not suitable to be a hostel. If you’re in Phnom Penh there are much other nicer places to stay 

Stay here if you like the smell of wee

Oh, it's such a lousy place I can't believe! The dorms are actually the rooms attached to the BAR, with the glass doors, so you have no privacy at all. Doors also have no lock, so basically anyone from the bar can enter. 

The music and drinking people it's what you can hear at night. To have a shower I had to go through all the bar. Not the nicest situation - walking in my pijamas among people having a beer. When having shower you will be accompanied by the sound of vomiting people...

In the dorms the beds have no mattresses, but rather a sponges, so are not hygienic nor comfortable. And the WiFi is not reaching the rooms, staff knows about it but they seem satisfied with the answer that 'wifi reaches the door'...

Still, it's not the cheapest option in the city, so I cannot find a reason to stay here. Maybe if you like to drink and sleep in a bar then it's a right choice for you.

It's sleeping in a BAR, not a hostel!

이런 멋진 바를 갖고 있는 호스텔은 드물것이다. 룸 문열면 바로 바와 멋진 메콩강 뷰~~~하지만 그 bar와 호스탤을 같이 운영함으로 단점은 좀 시끄럽다는것이고 bar의 메뉴 가격이 조금은 높다. 멋진 뷰 아직도 뇌리에 생생하다
