Clean, comfortable bed, air con and fan, mini fridge, tv with several western channels, dresser, desk, bedside table and strong wifi. Definitely value for money.  Only drawback is lack of elevator.  Excellent location two blocks away from riverside and numerous restaurants. Several floating restaurants and firefly tours.  Tourist office is next to the bridge.  Tuk tuk drivers can take you to attractions in nearby Kampot and Kep for a modest fee or you can book through hotel.

Nice hotel near the riverside

First I stayed in an air-con room and then a fan room, stayed 3 nights, good staff, in the centre of town, quiet and no problem.

I will stay again as I was happy there, the air-con room was $13 and the fan room just $8.

Good guesthouse right in town

A good stay. Not the room we ordered as they had somehow missed our booking. So a twin room rather than double bed. Other than that all fine.Hotel clean and functional. Room of s good size, lacking in any form of wardrobe facilities.

Clean, roomy guesthouse

Four night stay and nothing to fault. Room cleaned once during our stay which was fine by us.
Good sized room, quite cool (fan only). Hot shower every time.
Minor fail is that there are no hanging facilities at all for clothes.
Polite staff, provided us with water for room on days not cleaned.

Modern functional guesthouse

Walking distance to bars and restaurants, modern hotel, no restaurant on the property , the staff are friendly and rooms in very good condition. I'm on my 4th visit to this hotel, very convenient

Extremely good value for money,

This place has a great location and it is worth for your money. Me and my friend stayed there for 2 nights and that was also long enough to see the small city of Kampot.Minus points was that there were few ants in our bathroom plus other little bugs here and there.

Worth of money

My husband and I stayed there for a weekend visit and it was very nice.  The Guesthouse was clean and in a very good location, not far from the river front.  The riverfront has a lot of restaurants.  The reception was friendly and helpful.

Guesthouse

The rooms were very nice--relatively new, mostly quiet, and properly furnished with reliable wifi.  The front desk was always properly manned by someone who was friendly and competent and the location, one block from the riverfront and a few minutes from the center of the old town, was very good.  However, they display that they accept almost every credit card in existence on their booking home page but they do not have a credit card terminal.  I complained about this, and the young man at the desk said that he could try to enter my Visa card via his tablet.  Obviously, having someone enter your credit card number on a personal tablet is not safe.  So I had to pay cash.  Fortunately, the rooms are not expensive.  If you are OK with paying cash, Borey Vatanac is a good selection.  However, find someplace else if you need to use a credit card.

Mostly Good, But A Problem For Those That Want To Use Credit Cards

Stayed here for a couple of nights with friends and shared the triple room. The beds were lovely and comfortable and the room nice and spacious. The bathroom was clean and the shower worked well.

Only downside was the lack of attentiveness to the rooms, with no replenishing of toilet roll or shower gels. Also there were ants on our floor when we arrive. 

Good value for money

I enjoyed my stay. The price was under 10$ and the place is new, clean and well located.I would recommend this place to other travelers.
