The hotel as an hotel is not that bad , its mostly clean the rooms have ac , some smell sometimes cigarettes but if you open the windows the smell fades away.  The bathroom is a bit old-school like the shower is in the same floor with the toilet but you can get used to it. Mane problem the personnel is rude most of the times and looking sketchy ( we heard from the locals many wierd stories and theories ) , also if you want to have food there maybe thing about it again because its a wast of money , the quality is okay for a hotel like this but the portions are small at least . Last thing that you should know the village is habited by mostly Turkish people as the staff of the hotel , not that important but good to know before going there.

Just try to avoid it

The room and the Bathroom are very spacious as well have been updated recently. Highly recommend.

The hotel is outdated , dirty carpet in the hallways , unsanitary bathroom and shower , do not recommend

The hotel is basic. Yes have accept that price is fairly low. Air conditioner was slow. Common alleways are not heated and there a distictive smell of sheep lard or kebabs they cook in the air. But it was only one hotel. com choice in the area.

Force of weather stop by

The hotel is located close to the centre but is not easily seen. No breakfast or dinner was available, I am guessing this was due to me and my colleague being the only two in the hotel. The staff spoke no English which is understandable but made it difficult to sort anything. Room was dark and some lighting didn’t work.

Wouldn’t be my first choice.

It was cold, no hot water.. only lukewarm after you run it for 20min. Most rooms smell cigarettes; the smoke has penetrated the curtains and the carpet. The cash-register at the lobby did not work and we did not receive ANY receipts for what we drank in the lobby!

Rooms smell

ALL the rooms were smoking rooms and the smoke has penetrated the curtains and the sheets so no matter how long you keep the window open, it still stinks. The AC took ages to heat the room and to have a WARM water you need to run the water for at least 20min.

Nice and luxurous lobby, stinky rooms

Stayed here for four nights under a group booking. The hotel is well located, just a short walk away from the town centre and the supermarkets respectively. 

My room was fairly basic and very clean, with solid furnishings. The bathroom doubled up as a shower room (i.e. there is no separation between the shower and toilet/basin so water sprays over everything). 

Plenty of space to relax with a bar, lobby lounge and tables out the front of the hotel. 

A handy selection of postcards, maps and guides for the town/region area available for sale from the reception desk.

The food produced at the basement restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner was of good quality and very reasonably priced.

Decent option in Kardzhali

Me and my family are happy to stay in this hotel. Big and clean rooms. Very good location - close to the city center and on the route to Greece(Makaza). The food in the restourant is very good. Prises are definitely not high.

Good place to overnight

Stayed in this hotel on a business trip to Kharjali. The rooms are very basic with dated furniture, toilet and shower in same small room, everything got wet when I showered. Wifi very poor in the rooms but is available in reception. Breakfast is disappointing, piece of cheese, cucumber and boiled egg and toast. The hotel  was very cheap, €20 per night so I suppose you get what you pay for. What I will say is that the hotel is very clean and is very central to local shops etc.
